The good life. Making yarn lovelies. Living in the north of England.
She writes: Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it’s lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I’m a happily married, stay at home Mum with three young children.
We live in a 100 year old Victorian house in the North of England which we are slowly renovating, and here I spend my days :: mothering, decorating, crocheting, baking, sewing, crafting and gardening. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world. xxxx
I’ve been peeking in at Attic 24 for quite a few years. When I want a good dose of handmade colorful pretties, I go and tiptoe into her world.
Where they eat al fresco. And seem to bake a lot of bread.
Sitting in the sunlight beaming through the window, in her small space, looking serene.
A good life of baking and raising children and growing pretty flowers. Looks like a good life to me.
A satisfying life. Rich with the knowledge that they have enough.
Lucy writes that sometimes they mull over moving to more spacious rooms, but she loves her home, and can’t imagine being in another place.
Can you imagine wanting more? She seems so content in the safe embrace of her home.
It is cozy. Colorful, cozy and lovely. All at the same time.
She tucks her little family in to beds adorned with coverings she made with her own two hands.
To me it seems blissful.
