The golden pennies are still doing great planted in the crevices of the wood. I wish I had more pieces of driftwood with deep crevices to plant in. I can’t afford to buy these pieces now!
How many times do you think you’ve seen this colorful sun covered with some variety of vines in all the places I’ve lived? It traveled with me from Texas as well.
The ornamental grasses are all doing their end of season thing, where they grow tall and then turn brown in the fall. I think the spiky plumes are so pretty.
First thing in the morning when we go out, the dogs are still sleepy and slow to get moving. But once they get the scent of squirrels in the air, they’re raring to run around the patio.
The trees in the early morning light have their own form of beauty. It’s so nice to see the sun shining through the leaves.
