I always love to see how someone else is decorating their home for the holidays. Here are a few favorites I’ve found of Christmas displays and vignettes online.
One of these days I’d love to find an old vintage typewriter. I think it’s a great decorative touch to add a message in the space where the typing paper goes.
Once upon a time, I had a manual typewriter. I bought my first one in grade school. I recall going to the library and checking out books in order to teach myself how to type.
All the red and white decor in the above photo just makes me smile. And the old distressed table is a perfect touch.
From all the pretties on the shelves to the red and white nisses sitting together at the bottom, this is a perfect Christmas display.
Plaid pillows play a decorative role here in the two chairs. They cozy up the brown leather chairs and make them look more festive.
Then there’s all the pretty decor on the sideboard and displayed on the wall above it.
This is a simple look. For this vignette they gathered old vintage bottles together on a tray. Then added a red and white ribbon that is loosely tied around them.
In this Christmas themed vignette are natural elements such as the rosemary in the container. There are pine cones, a chopped birch log and a white deer perched delicately on the tray.
The Christmas lights behind them frame them well and give a cozy glow.
The above photo shows a white sideboard with mostly neutral Christmas decor on its surface.
With green tree boughs in the background, there are various Christmas trees, pine cones and deer displayed. I like the way the trees are gathered at various heights, which give the setting more impact.
The greeting on the wall above grounds the vignette below.
