I wish I knew what is going on in the mind of this dog. “Abi, get out of my plants!”
Sometimes I think Abi is more human than dog. Especially at night when she puts me through the paces of our routine. I have to beg her to come up on the bed.
Yes, I have to. Because she will not shut up. She will make strange sounds until I give in and say what I say to her every night.
“Where’s Abi? Where’s my girl?” Over and over again until she finds is satisfied with this little drama and comes running up the doggy steps.
I can’t simply say the words. I have to say them a certain way.
Then I have to say: “There she is!” Like I’ve been looking all over the place and was not able to find her.
She is quite the character.
Charlie is a more of a dog’s dog. He never tires of watching the squirrels taunt him. His needs are pretty straightforward and simple.
This heat is dreadful, I know. But don’t forget to dead-head your petunias.
The continuous and plentiful flowers will reward you for your efforts!
