Sunday Thoughts

It’s been really cold the last few days. Guess we got a winter weather blast.

Ah well, it’s December after all.

Someone asked where I found the red truck painting. I found it at Kirklands a few months ago.

I think it was there about ten minutes. I haven’t seen it there or on their website since.

I got my red truck that is on the table runner at Hobby Lobby years ago. Someone asked about that too.

They called with the echocardiogram results and said everything looked good.

The tech who performed the test told me that EKG’s aren’t always very accurate, so I guess she was right.

Guess I didn’t need to incur that cost. But you never know.

I’ve been feeling a lot better this past week. No dizziness in the stores or weakness. Don’t know what that was all about.

I plug in my little white tree every morning and enjoy it all day. I love to sit on my couch and gaze at the lights.

  1. So glad your tests came out ok, Brenda! Your white tree is lovely – I have my tree on every second while I'm at home and I love it so much! I don't understand people that are just putting up their decorations now….you work so hard to get them up, wouldn't it be nice to enjoy them a little longer?

  2. Brenda, I'm so glad the tests came back positive. Stay healthy and warm! Atlanta experienced snow this past Friday which was a surprise for us. I don't remember the last time we had snow in December. Happy Holidays to everyone! Carol

  3. The painting is precious! I love your holiday touches. I know that when I sit at night with just the tree lights twinkling…my thoughts drift off in so many ways, most of them comforting.

All the best this holiday season, Brenda!

  5. I'm so glad you are feeling better. Can't remember if I told you I was having dizziness a month or so ago. I actually had to stop the car on the side of the highway one day because it scared me so much. The doctor said it was my sinuses and ears. I started using Flonase and that fixed it.

  6. So glad that you are feeling better and that you got good news from your tests. I also love your truck and truck painting. You must be ahead of the trends because they seem to be very popular this season : )

  7. Great news! And… anxiety can cause those symptoms. You don't particularly like crowds, people and stores, right? Hence the anxiety – and the symptoms I bet. I used to have panic attacks where I felt the same way and they usually occurred in the grocery store. Go figure.

Your tree grouping is beautiful – that's one of my favorite decorating scenes…. groups of trees. And.. I saw that "mailbox" at a local store and have walked by it several times thinking I really oughta buy it. I love it!

  8. So glad you are feeling better. I was concerned for you.

I am so amazed myself to feel so much better since becoming a vegan. My heart has quieted down, (at least for now), I no longer have insomnia, and other health concerns are no longer a problem.

Your little tree is so pretty, I know how much pleasure something pretty like that with shiny lights can bring to a person.

  9. Your apartment looks so festive and cute Brenda! Are you drinking plenty of water? My boyfriend was feeling dizzy and had chest pains at work one day, they hauled him off in an ambulance and did all kinds of tests and basically ran up a huge hospital bill only to finally tell him he was dehydrated!

  10. Had a touch of snow in Central KY yesterday. So glad you are feeling better. Looking at the Christmas decorations is fun and cozy. I'm going to glue buttons on the ends of the branches of a 6-inch tree today to make what I call a button tree. The colored buttons look like little ornaments. I have a couple of them and I'm making this one as a gift.

  11. So glad your test results were all good news. I know you had to incur some cost but it at least gave you peace of mind that nothing was going on with your heart. Love your tree and I bet it is pretty to stare at.
    Hugs,
    Kris
