Book Title: The Fix/Memory Man Series #3
Genre: Crime Fiction, Suspense

Book Summary:
Amos Decker witnesses a murder just outside FBI headquarters. A man shoots a woman execution-style on a crowded sidewalk, then turns the gun on himself.
Even with Decker’s extraordinary powers of observation and deduction, the killing is baffling. Decker and his team can find absolutely no connection between the shooter–a family man with a successful consulting business–and his victim, a schoolteacher. Nor is there a hint of any possible motive for the attack.
But they learn that the DIA believes solving the murder is now a matter of urgent national security. Critical information may have been leaked to a hostile government–or worse, an international terrorist group–and an attack may be imminent.
My Review:
I love the Amos Decker Series, and this was #3. Each one was special in its own right.
Amos, The Memory Man, is a very likeable protagonist. He lacks in social skills. But he more than makes up for that with his phenomenal crime solving skills.
As I read this book, there were so many threads of possibilities, I wondered how on earth the author kept everything straight. But David Baldacci does this with aplomb!
About The Author:
David Baldacci has been writing since childhood, when his mother gave him a lined notebook in which to write down his stories. (Much later, when David thanked her for being the spark that ignited his writing career, she revealed that she’d given him the notebook to keep him quiet, because “every mom needs a break now and then.”)
David published his first novel, Absolute Power, in 1996. His novels are published in over 45 languages and in more than 80 countries, with over 130 million worldwide sales. David has also published six novels for younger readers.
David and his family live in Virginia.
