Seems like it’s been a long time since I wrote a post. It actually hasn’t been.
I’m sure you’ve noticed that there are no other photos aside from this post. That’s because they’re being transferred, but it will take awhile. Because I have a lot of them. Fifteen thousand.
Just think of all those flowers from my gardens. Photos of the pupsters, my apartment, the squirrels and birds. All those photos you’ve seen over the years. I had no idea there were that many.
It will simply take awhile. But I didn’t want to wait for them to transfer here before I commenced posting.
Meanwhile, Abi has spent much of the last few days ferreting out every bit of Kleenex/toilet paper I’ve set aside due to coughing and gleefully shredding them to bits. At times it looks like it’s snowing in here. I will think I’ve found them all, but Abi manages to find yet another.
I’m getting accustomed to this WordPress Dashboard, which is where I write these posts and add my photos. It will be an adjustment. I’ll be tweaking things along the way. But I’ll get there by and by. Please let me know how things look on your end.
There has been a big change at my apartment complex this week. The management company is gone, and the owner in Texas has moved his own people in. We’re hoping this means that things will be better for residents around here.
I’ve been reading a lot of great books, which I will be reviewing. I read “Lie To Me” by J.T. Ellison in one day. What a suspenseful book!
I read “Little Broken Things” by Nicole Baart. It wasn’t quite as riveting as I’d expected. But still a good book.
I’m reading “The Dry” right now. “A small town hides big secrets in this atmospheric, page-turning debut mystery by award-winning author Jane Harper.”
Hopefully this was a mere glitch. This interruption and switching things up. The world of blogging keeps changing and you have to remain current if this is your business.
But now I can get back to what I love to do, writing to all of you!
