Life in prison is a shock. She discovers that people aren’t always what they seem, love wears many faces, and friendship can make life worth living.
But as she struggles to survive on the inside, Kristen must face something even more frightening than her fellow inmates. . . herself.
My Review:
The female characters in this book are varied. There are the women who work at the prison along with several of the prisoners themselves.
The premise of this book is what is going on in these women’s lives as the years go by. Women come and go and new friendships are forged.
The author manages to do a great job with the transitioning of characters. The voices were genuine and unique.
