I have rose buds on my yellow rose bush. I fertilized it about a week ago and it has buds all over it now. I’m looking forward to those yellow roses!
It is cold here. Cold and damp and overcast. Not gardening weather for sure. It was near freezing last night. So all that’s going on in my garden right now is what is coming back from last year.
I will not be adding any plants or seeds till around the middle of April.
Here is the most advanced clump of hostas over in the blue raised bed. There look to be about five clumps.
Above is the galvanized container of either cone flower or Black-eyed Susans. I think the wood base is the cone flower I planted.
But the container behind it looks to have the same seedlings, and I planted Black-eyed Susans in that one. Guess I’ll find out.
Here’s what Jade’s tree leaves, or buds, look like today. I can’t wait till they get bigger and open up.
This is either a sedum or a succulent. I don’t recall planting it. But here it is, robust and very healthy.
My white clematis has flower buds in the above photo.
One of the ornamental grasses from last year. I don’t recall what this one was.
I have a partial packet of chives that I will be planting. The one above has been going all winter since spring 2017
The sedum autumn joy this week.
This is a bit bigger view of the galvanized container garden. I took this photo through the patio doors because it is cold and I didn’t want to go back out again.
Tomorrow you’ll see what’s new in my bathroom.
So what’s going on in your garden?
