A group of mothers known as the May Mothers (mothers whose babies were born in the month of May), get together twice per week with their babies in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park.
On the evening of July 4th they arrange to meet at a neighborhood bar. While they’re out on a rare evening without their babies, one of the infants goes missing.
The story line follows each of the mothers as they try to figure out who took six week old Midas and where he might be.
At the same time each mother is trying desperately to hide her own dark secret. And as happens with most secrets, they are all about to be exposed.
