  1. I love your style of decorating. I love having a lot of things around that I love. My daughters tell me it’s too much junk. But I love it- it feels more like me. Kitty

  2. So glad Abi is doing better and is responding to her new meds. These two pups are quite the characters and all of us love to hear about them. Charlie cracks me up with his hunter heart and perseverance! I love the red ottoman but then I seem to live all your decorating ideas, Brenda. You are an artist with a loving heart !

  3. I am so happy to hear that Abi is feeling better. I am sure that it is a relief to you as well. Your pups are so cute I love that they sleep on the back of the sofa, one of mine does that too.

  4. Brenda your giveaway was very sweet 🙂

My younger sister and her BF clean houses for a living and they call what dogs leave on the window as “Dog Snoot” lol

Whenever my youngest son’s pit it here the SNOOT is everywhere 🙂

Glad to hear things are looking up for Abi and you 🙂

  5. Brenda, that was really kind of you to give your coffee table to the gentleman who had no furniture. And now you can have more room in the closet and a new red coffee table to look at!
Aww, I’m so glad Abby has gotten some help with her incontinence. I bet she feels better, too. And, Charlie, just what do you think you would do with that squirrel if you caught him?? Do you just need a playmate? I think he might be a little too bossy to be a good playmate. Better to just watch him through the window, don’t you think?

I have been sick for nearly two weeks with a sinus infection and the worst sore throat I think I’ve ever had. I am so frustrated that I can’t start working on my container garden on my deck. The weather has been warmer and sunny several days, lately, so I’m chomping at the bit.

Hope you have a good weekend, Brenda.

  6. Love your little dog. And love the idea he can get on the safe with the steps. So adorable laying on the back of the sofa. Your living room looks so cozy.

  7. How nice of you. And how nice that Abi is feeling better, such a relief when our little ones feel good.

  8. glad abbi is better and you also have room for your hassock squirrel better watch out as charlie might get him someday haha have a nice weekend

  9. I am so glad that Abi’s medicine is working! She and Charlie are too cute and I always love to read about them. How kind of you to give your table away. I’m sure your kindness will come back to you many times over. Your house is always so warm and welcoming. I so enjoy my daily visits with you and the pupsters.

  10. Such a kind gesture to give your table to someone in need. It is always a good feeling to help someone in need. I really like the red ottoman in the living room, it looks great and takes up less space.

  11. I’m so happy to hear that Abi is doing better! I just love seeing pictures of the pupsters! The ottoman looks really good in your living room. Your house always looks so nice – it seems like our place always looks messy no matter what I do. We do have a lot of cat toys and such around that adds to the clutter but that’s for my babies. Hey, I bet a lot of us could use tips on how to decorate around a lot of pet toys, beds and such. We have a “cat tower” at the back door that our cats love more than anything (cats do love to get up high) but it does give a cluttered look.

  12. That red ottoman really looks great. It makes the floor look so much larger. I have a ‘dog dent’ in the back of my couch, too!

  13. I’m so glad to hear Abi is doing better. And, your red ottoman looks better than that the blue coffee table did.

  14. Sweet Abi looks so comfy up there on the couch. I’m so glad her meds are working! Go get em Charlie. I love the red ottoman. I keep thinking about a coffee table but I have a small living room also so I may look at a couple of round ottomans like yours instead! Happy Friday Brenda!

  15. I think that red ottoman looks perfect in your living room. I have the same ottoman (a pair of them, actually) except in dark brown leather. They’re storage ottomans and the tops can be flipped over to the “hard” side, which is like a tray. I’m using one as a side table in my living room and the other as a true ottoman in front of a chair in our spare room. I had to laugh about Abi sleeping on the back of the couch (on top of the cushions) because that is my cat’s favorite place to sleep, too! So glad to hear the medicine is working for Abi.

  16. You are a kind soul and I’m glad you were able to help out the maintenance man with a bit of furniture. I’m sure he was most grateful! How wonderful that the new meds are working for Abi, I’m sure you are very relieved! Your apartment looks great, so cozy, I just adore your decorating style!

  17. Your blog is so aptly named! You are the Queen of Cozy and the Duchess of Vignettes! I especially love how you incorporate pupsters and plants into your decor! Can you please tell me what plants you have in your terrarium? Also, do you use anything on the “floor” of the terrarium? Thanks so much and love your blog!

  18. Awwww… this is great news for Abi!!!.. those pupsters make me smile… every single time I see a pic of them !!! 🙂 …… Gorgeous change with the ottoman ….. I always enjoy your posts…. you have conquered small space living in so many beautiful ways !!!! I love it !!!!

  19. Love that ottoman and I know the maintenance guy appreciates your kindness and the table.
Abi looks so cute (and quite comfortable) on the back of the sofa and it looks like Charlie is taking this squirrel duty seriously. Glad that Abi is better and I know that you are relieved.

Those steps you have for the pupsters are such a great idea.

  20. So happy the meds are working for Abi and she is feeling better. Very thoughtful of you to give your coffee table away to someone who really needs it and I am sure it was appreciated.

  21. Brenda, you are a kind, sweet woman to give the maintenance man that table. I like the little red ottoman and it doesn’t crowd your room at all. I’m so glad Abi is feeling better, she looks it in those pictures and tell Charlie to continue his quest with those pesky squirrels. Animals are such a joy to have in one’s life. Happy Friday and have a lovely weekend, Carol.
