Yesterday afternoon I got the itch to get out. So I drove over to Hobby Lobby, which is probably about two miles from me. I just wanted to go somewhere cool and walk around.
I wasn’t looking for anything. I just enjoyed walking through the store.
But then I came upon the 66% off aisle. And I found this wall art. It was $11.
It’s hanging right next to the patio door above my little stand alone pantry.
It must have rained a bit last night. It was overcast until just a few minutes ago. Now there are rays of sunshine beaming down.
My plan today is to maybe trim some plants out on the patio if it isn’t too muggy. Otherwise I’m probably staying in.
With this little man right here.
I stayed up and finished reading “The Captives.” It was a very interesting psychological suspense novel with a surprise ending.
Here is my red hibiscus plant this morning. It sure is looking good now that I’ve repotted it into a bigger pot.
I was really worried I was going to lose it there for a few days. But it’s rebounded now and I’m so glad. I would hate to lose this beauty.
The gardenia isn’t blooming right now. I had to take it out of the full sun area it was in and give it some shade, as I’ve had to do with so many plants.
But it looks healthy and I love the sheen of the leaves. It has grown so much since I bought it at the nursery in the house plant area back in January.
I was told it would bloom indoors. But I never could get it to bloom inside my apartment.
I thought I was going to lose it as well there for awhile. But once I put it in a bigger pot and got it outside, it perked up.
It seems to like this spot outdoors. Blooms aren’t everything.
The glass half full and all that…
