Book Summary:
Detective Greg Carver is found shot in the chest in his home. The book opens with his partner Ruth Lake standing in the room with him, but gives no explanation as to why she is there.
And instead of calling for help, she wipes the room clean of prints and rearranges things.
Carver wakes up in the hospital with no memory of being shot. He believes that the Thorn Killer shot him because he was getting too close to finding out his identity. But there is no proof that it was the psychopath who wounded him.
Ruth takes over the Thorn Killer investigation while Carver recuperates. But she also has a lot of secrets that she does not want to be revealed.
My Review:
This was a good read. Interesting and lots of twists and turns.
About The Author:
Margaret Murphy has published nine psychological suspense novels under her own name, and a trilogy of forensic thrillers under the pseudonym A.D. Garrett.
Love those stories that keep in suspense until the very end. I will put this on my To Read list. I cannot remember reading anything by the author before.
Thanks for the review. Happy Sunday.
That sounds like one that I would like. I like suspenseful books with lots of twists and turns. Hope you have a great weekend. xo Diana
