Book Review: Her Every FearHer Every Fear by Peter Swanson

Book Summary:

Kate Priddy began having panic attacks after an ex-boyfriend kidnapped and nearly killed her.

Corbin, who lives in Boston and is a distant cousin, suggests that they temporarily swap apartments. Kate, an art student in London, agrees to the offer, hoping time away will help her anxiety over what happened to her.

But right after her arrival on Beacon Hill, Kate learns that her next door neighbor Audrey has been murdered. She is questioned by the police, though she had never met the woman.

Alan Cherney is a handsome, quiet, unassuming tenant who lives across the courtyard in an apartment facing hers. Alan tells her that he saw her cousin Corbin coming and going from Audrey’s place, but Corbin had denied knowing her.

Could the cousin she’d never actually met be the killer? And what about Alan, who seems a bit odd?

Is this why Corbin offered to swap apartments? So he could leave the country and hide from authorities?

Kate finds herself involved in a mystery that isn’t at all calming the anxiety she moved there to possibly overcome.

My Review:

I enjoyed this book. There were mysterious characters, and I went back and forth trying to decide who the culprit was.

I always love to read a suspenseful mystery!

I’m glad other people have had positive experiences with https://usabookreviewers.com/ too. To tack on two cents: I’ve had a really great experience with them so far– I’ve had over 60 reviews and 90 ratings. Not sure on my stats yet, but I’m so, so glad I decided to do this!
