Yesterday I didn’t go out at all. I stayed home with the pet babies and enjoyed the the coziness of my home and the warmth of the fireplace.
That fireplace has been just about worth its weight in gold! For under $200 it was quite worth it.
How truly delightful it’s been to sit here and watch movies and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and watch the realistic “flames.”
I can turn the heat down because the fireplace warms up the place quite adequately. I’ll let you know if it changes my electric bill much.
On a whim I pulled the dining table away from the wall and put up the leaves. I’ve never done that and thought it would just be something different.
When you live in a small home I think you want to mix things up more often because you see the same things over and over again.
I put a boho place mat in the middle and added a plant.
I think I’ll be watching the last episode of four seasons of “Line Of Duty” tonight. I think they’re making more. I sure hope so.
Yesterday I watched a movie on Netflix called “The Captive” with Ryan Reynolds. I thought it ended rather strangely. But now I’m so accustomed to watching British shows that I think the American ones are rather inferior.
My daughters asked me if the accents bothered me. The younger one said she couldn’t understand what they’re saying when she’s watched British TV. I told her that you get used to it fast and can understand what they’re saying.
Well, sometimes I miss exactly what was said, but I get the gist of things.
My house plants give me so much joy when it’s too cold to grow anything outdoors. They bring life to a home. They both clean the air and bring a smile to my face when I look at them.
I’ve always loved tending plants, whether inside or out. I guess it’s in my blood.
