Yesterday, with staying in and staring at the same walls, I thought of something else to do to busy myself.
I arranged decor I found in my closet to this large plant in the beverage tub.
I chose vintage washboards that were two different sizes as a backdrop to this big plant in the tub. With the barn painting in back, it is a nice little vintage vignette I think.
If you have plants, real or faux, you might try this. We’re all inside and we might as well find things to do. So let’s decorate together.
If you have a container of some sort put a plant or two inside. Also you could take a surface like a cutting board or tray, etc., and do the same thing.
Add your plant first, and then choose decor you find around your house that pleases you visually.
Since I love to create vignettes, I will create more and show you what I come up with. Hopefully it will inspire you in some way.
Since this wall is a gallery wall of farmhouse paintings, I felt that the washboards fit right in.
Note the prayer plant you see reflected in the black TV screen. The plant is actually over by the window out of sight.
Every day I’m going to try to find decorating to share with you. Since we’re stuck inside, we might as well make it pleasing and pretty.
If you have requests of things you would like me to do and share, please list your suggestions in the comments.
It could be various vignettes in different rooms, etc. Remember that I don’t have a lot of rooms though!
I could build a vignette and add one thing at a time and explain how I choose what to add for instance.
Also if you have a troublesome room or area you just don’t know what to do with, explain it in the comments and we’ll all try to make suggestions and help one another.
Like an old-fashioned Tupperware party without the Tupperware that is a virtual gathering!
