I haven’t had a bread box in ages. I recall I had one when my girls were little. I baked a lot of whole wheat bread loaves back then.
They’d come home from school and eat a slice of my still warm bread with butter.
Anyway, I decided to look for a bread box online to see what I could find. And I came across this one. Naturally the red and white caught my eye.
Amazon.com carried it, but it would be awhile before they could ship it. So I copied the same URL that was at Amazon.com in my Search bar and found it at Walmart.com.
That’s where I got this one. It came yesterday. I like the plain look of it, and of course the red and white combo. It’s pretty much my favorite color combination.
This was just about the only place to put it.
I had a white cutting board I laid on top of the microwave because the bread box is almost exactly the same size as the microwave and I didn’t want it sliding off.
These days when we’re staying home so much, we need cheerful colors in our home. Colors that make us feel happy.
And I have to show you this picture of daughter Kendra at the flip house working. She’s gotten a lot done.
This house will go from 2 beds and 1 bath to 3 beds and 2 baths. When she’s done in a few months this house will have new flooring and cabinets and appliances and pretty much everything.
She likes to completely gut a house and take down some walls and build it up anew.
Thank goodness she finally got something to keep from inhaling all that dust.
I bet she doesn’t weigh over 100 pounds dripping wet, but she sure can put just as many hours into doing hard work as a man can.
I’m very proud of her for taking this kind of thing on. I know I wouldn’t have the nerve to flip houses!
