This morning I’m listening to Philip Wesley’s “Transcend.” For awhile is fingers travel rapidly up and down the piano keys.
Then he begins a melody off to the side with just a few chords that evokes a certain mood.
Philip Wesley is a composer and keyboardist who specializes in tender solo piano pieces.
What I’m Reading:
Last night I started reading “If I Disappear” by Eliza Jane Brazier.
I pre-ordered it and it got here yesterday. I don’t tend to pre-order books, but this one somehow called out to me.
The author is currently developing “If I Disappear” for television.
Sera loves true crime podcasts. They make her feel empowered in a world where women just like her disappear daily.
When Rachel, her favorite podcast host, goes missing, Sera knows it’s time to act.
Sera follows the clues hidden in the episodes to an isolated ranch outside Rachel’s small hometown to begin her search.
But the more Sera digs into this unfamiliar world, the more off things start to feel. Because Rachel is not the first woman to vanish from the ranch, and she won’t be the last.
What I’m Working On:
Yesterday I began working on separate pages for this blog that will cite sources for entertainment. In the form of TV, books, and music.
It will be my recommendations based on what I’ve watched, read and listened to. And think you might like as well.
In this time of COVID-19, when we’re home far more than we used to be, various forms of entertainment have become far more important. At least to me anyway.
