What I’m Reading & Watching On Acorn TV 2/22/21

Last night I began reading John Hart’s “The Unwilling.” I’ve never read his books before, but he is a New York Times bestselling author.

Book Summary:

What I’m Watching: Law & Order UK

Last night I watched the second episode in “Law & Order UK on Acorn TV. I love TV with no commercials.

What It’s About:

Law & Order: UK is a British adaptation of the American Law & Order franchise, one of the most successful brands in American prime time television.

Law & Order: UK is based in London and duplicates the episode format of the original series but with appropriate modifications to more closely resemble the English legal system.

The opening narration is largely the same as that of the American series, but replaces “district attorneys” with “Crown Prosecutors”.

  2. here’s a book you might enjoy. The Widows by Jess Montgomery. Its the first book in a series, based on the real first woman sheriff in Ohio… with fictionalized story. Its really good. I have my name on the ‘hold’ list at our local library for the next book in the series.

  3. I am just about to start this series. I have gone through every Miss Marple, Vera, Morse, etc and thought I might try it. Some of the more recent series I have tried are way too dark for my taste. This one sounds about right.
