I purchased this plant stand at the garden nursery because I loved the beautiful scrolled detailing.
When I bought it I thought I’d just bring it home and put a plant or two in it.
I also bought the pot you see with a nest and eggs because they had their Easter decor marked half off. Which made it about $6.50.
But when I got home I gathered a few items that made me think of spring and arranged them in the plant stand. I guess you could call it a plant stand vignette.
So for now I’m just enjoying the plant stand with a spring vignette in it.
Then I got to thinking of all the things I could do with this pretty plant stand.
You could put it outside and use it as a portable coffee bar.
It could be placed next to you while you sit and gaze at your garden and sip your morning coffee. Or tea, depending on your preferences.
The stand could hold sugar and creamer and be right there at your fingertips.
You could put it in a bathroom and arrange soaps and towels and such in it.
Or you could put it in a guest room and add items you think your guests might need during their visit.
A vignette of any kind would look great in it of course, regardless of the season. But you could also use it as a tree stand and place a small Christmas tree in it.
This plant stand could come in handy in a myriad of ways. The possibilities are endless.
I just love buying something that can be used in different ways. It makes me feel like I really got my money’s worth.
I bought one similar to this at Lowe’s for use as a table top tree stand – just to give it more height. It looked great! I might follow your suggestion and place it near an Adirondack chair out in the yard. I have a tray that will fit it, so instant table!

I call this “Styling a plant stand multiple ways”. I think this could be an ongoing “thing” on your blog if you like… such as “How to Style ________ Multiple Ways” inserting what ever the item you’re showcasing is such as shelf, end table, night stand etc. Just a thought. You’re really good at thinking outside the box and styling vignettes. (I’m not, so I could use this)

I just bought 2 plant stands to use as side tables on our patio. I originally wanted 2 ceramic garden stools to use as end tables, but when I saw the price of those I changed my mind rather quickly!
