I got a pretty new solar light in the mail to put on my patio. My sweet reader Charlotte sent it to me.
I can’t wait to see it lit up. But it may be a few days. There’s currently no sunlight around here lately.
You know that this apartment I moved into doesn’t have washer/dryer hookups. After two weeks here, I decided I’d have to figure something out.
Tried wringing out the water of wet towels with your hands? Oh my word.
So I started mulling over all my options.
I rigged up a second shower rod in the middle of the shower/tub so I could hang up clothing on hangers temporarily. That works pretty well.
The towels are taking about four days to dry. And then when you use them again, they feel like sand paper.
So I did a whole lot of research and read a lot of reviews. I thought about it and then thought about it some more.
And I ended up placing an order for a portable washer/dryer unit.
Ordering a portable washer/dryer unit:
And it’s vent-less.
I loved this part: Clothes glide over the Roller Jets while sprinklers encourage the removal of soil, reducing pilling, fraying and snags for longer-lasting clothing.
You know I love to be frugal and that certainly means rarely buying clothing.
It had great reviews so I ordered it.
Where will I put it:
This probably means a new configuration of my kitchen layout. I wish I could just take the dishwasher out. What I really need is a space close to the kitchen sink where I can hook the washer hose up to the spigot.
I will make room for it somewhere in this apartment.
So after it arrives and I get someone to hook it up and use it, I’ll let you know what I think of it. I know I’ll enjoy not having to take my laundry somewhere to wash it.
