  1. To add to the list of great shows you’ve already listed, Vera is one of my favorites. It’s on Acorn/BritBox. Kim’s Convenience is about a Korean family trying to assimilate into life in Toronto. I love the father character.

  2. I’ve watched The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Loved seasons 1 & 2 but very disappointed in season 3.
I enjoyed Ray Donovan. Just FYI, it is very violent.

  3. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not much of a TV watcher. We do have Amazon Prime but I rarely watch anything on it. We did watch the entire Marvelous Mrs. Maisel series over time and really enjoyed it. I have several movies on my Amazon Prime watchlist…The Lady in the Van, The Tender Bar, Mass, Sideways, Miss You Already. We’ll see if I get to them in the next year or so. 😉

    1. I sometimes watch a movie in the afternoon because my ankle is in too much pain to garden.

      1. My Amazon prime video is showing all 4 seasons of Unforgotten is available….I think I originally watched it on PBS channel…I make a contribution to our local station that sponsors pbs, so I can watch shows they offer…I’m watching new series of Call the Midwife now…

Shows I’ve watched on prime video
        Rose and Maloney
        Victoria…period era
        The Paradise ….period era
        Grantchester
The Durrells in Corfu…I truly adored this show

I like Goliath & The Affair that you’ve watched..

  4. I don’t have Amazon Prime, but if you get Peacock I highly recommend “Dr. Death”. It’s a six episode series and I loved it!

  5. I love Amazon Prime too as am a member. I love the free shipping. and all the wonderful movies and Amazon movies and series. I’ve watched almost all the ones you’ve listed, except a couple. I started on Reacher.. is good but haven’t gone back to it yet… and LOVE the Bosch series and looking forward to the spin-off.. also The Fall.. wow was that ever good. She is so great and would love to see her in more like that! I see alot have listed things I haven’t watched, so will add them to my ever growing list! Marilyn

  6. We have the same tastes in Amazon Prime series! We’ve read all of the Bosch books and enjoyed the Amazon Bosch series and DCI series. I just took a picture of ones you’ve liked so I can add them to our watch list! Thanks.

  7. Not a series but a movie,”Swing Vote” Andy Garcia(hottie) is a newly appointed Supreme Court judge, and it’s about overturning Roe v Wade, very well done!

  8. “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” is very funny and clever. Great actors, great dialogue and the set designer and costume designer should win awards (if they haven’t already). I wish that I was as witty as Mrs. Maisel (without the potty mouth). I wish that I had her and her mother’s wardrobe and that I lived in her apartment and that Susie (her manager) was my buddy. I also wish that I could vacation like she does at the Steiner Resort. Are there even places like that still in existence?

  9. It’s not a series, but there’s a great movie that’s available through Amazon Prime (I’m not a member). It’s called Maudie, and it’s very loosely based upon the life of folk artist Maude Lewis. I finally bought it because I’ve rented it so many times.

  10. Marvelous Mrs Maisel is terrific. There is a lot of swearing but it’s so clever and entertaining. Season two is stellar.

  11. Thanks for your list, I’m going to check some of them out. I enjoyed Reacher recently and I’d like to see Outer Range. Some other ones I’ve liked were Billions, The Electrical Life of Louis Wain (movie…cats!), The Collection, Good Girls Revolt, Sound of Metal, Portrait Artist of the Year, The Courier (movie).

  12. Goliath was a great series. And The Fall with Gillian Anderson was wonderful. She is a terrific actress and so sultry. There are so many shows available it is impossible to keep up.

  13. I try to just watch movies on prime, because of exactly what you mentioned. I don’t want to get invested in something and then I can’t watch the whole series. That is just upsetting, so I try to stick to just movies. Between Amazon Prime and Netflix, I have plenty to keep me entertained. I do listen to Amazon Prime free music, but I have yet to take advantage of their free books. Usually I use the public library’s free digital borrows if I want to read something.

    1. There are many, many things to watch. I haven’t watched a show with commercials in years.
