  1. Thanks for the update. I am sure all your readers have been/are concerned about both you and Charlie. It is so hard when our "babies" are sick. Prayers for you both.

  2. Poor sweet Charlie :(. I was wondering how he was doing. Sorry to hear it's getting more complicated than expected. He must be miserable!

For some reason, I didn't get this post update in my inbox. Every once in a while that happens. I click on your email for the day, then I see below it a post I never got. Not sure if it's an issue at my end. I know you can check with madmimi to see if a particular post was delivered or whether it bounced. Anyway, no worries. I know you post everyday, just thought I'd mention it.

  3. Poor pup!!! I hope it heals. He may not want to open it because of it being shut for so long. That eye may be very light sensitive at this point. Praying the little guy gets better. xo Diana

  4. My Pug had an eye ulcer that did eventually heal up, although he lost some vision in that eye. During that time he was on both an eye ointment and eye drops. I can't remember which one of them, but it numbed the pain in his eye. I hope that your Vet would give Charlie the one that will numb the pain in his eye while he is healing. I would ask your Vet about that so that Charlie doesn't suffer so much. I'm thinking of you, Brenda and little Charlie. I know how rough this is on you and your little guy….

  5. Brenda,
Not having a blog, I have never commented before. However, I comment today to share with you that I understand what you are going through. My little Chihuahua has a genetic eye disease that we've been treating for about 5 years. Not to alarm you because that probably isn't what is going on with Charlie, but I have had my share of dealing with ulcers. Luckily there are veterinary ophthalmologists and I cannot recommend enough making an appointment with one. If you were in Pennsylvania, I would recommend mine. I'm obviously not a doctor and cannot advise but would be happy to answer any questions that you may have.
