  1. I adore the windowsill office!!!! That's just so cute, and inspiring as well. The only spot I can see to create an office in my living space upstairs is next to the fireplace on one side or the other….but I'm staring at a wall, and I don't think that would work for me!! Someday….right now, however, I am working with my laptop propped on my lap in my chair in the living room. Which is ok….but not ideal. Thanks for the inspiration!

  2. I love the amount of surface area is photo #2, but love the notion of shutting it all away as in photo #4! Thanks for these photos which show it really is possible to create an attractive work area, unlike my current drab set-up. Thanks.

  3. I think this is one of your greatest posts. What wonderful ideas. I myself presently use a breakfast bar for a spot for my computer and house my office supplies in a nearby buffet. But after I move I will need to figure out something different and I will be referring to this post for ideas. Thanks!

  4. Brenda, I love the second one you featured where the homeowner was using a part of the living area as an office space. I have a small office space in a guest bedroom, which works really well for me! Pam @ Everyday Living
