    I had a nice day getting to spend part of it with my older daughter’s family. My ex-husband drove the snowy roads so we could be with them. They are about an hour away from me but it took us two to get there today with the snow coming down all the way. It wasn’t a long visit, but especially good to see our two grandsons whom I hadn’t seen for a couple of months. And we made it back safe and sound. All in all a happy Christmas day for me.

    I hope it’s something you love.
    My sister did mostly all holiday food planning and cooking.
    A few suggestions from me also.
    We need to keep it simple.
    A low or no salted menu.
    Everything was delicious yesterday.
    Later we are having roast turkey with all the trimmings!!
    Not over the top fancy though.
    From our favorite bakery, apple pie for dessert.
    It’s been a difficult week here. Terribly cold.
    Taking out the pets is so hard.
    A must to be very careful.
    Thankfully temps will slowly warm up.

  23. Merry Christmas to Brenda and Ivy. The storm has come and gone and the winds have finally abated, it is relatively calm out today and the sun is shining. It’s a beautiful day, although colder than “normal” for this time of year. Now it’s time to open the presents under the tree. Enjoy the day, everyone!
