I recently signed back up with Netflix. Below are some of the Netflix shows on My List that I want to watch.
I typically watch several episodes of whatever TV series I’m involved in watching at night. And I tend to watch movies in the daytime.
My List contains both Netflix TV series and movies.
10 Netflix TV Series On My List In Alphabetical Order:
Anatomy Of A Scandal (A wife learns that her husband has been having an affair with an aide. The news goes public, blowing up their lives and forcing her to deal with the consequences of her husband’s disastrous decisions. To make matters worse, James is accused of rape and has to stand trial.)
Behind Her Eyes (A single mother enters a world of twisted mind games when she begins an affair with her psychiatrist boss while secretly befriending his mysterious wife.)
Clickbait (The Brewer family discovers that one of their own is missing and appears on a viral video. It contains a chilling message saying that he will die should the video reach 5 million views.)
Designated Survivor (An American academic suddenly ascends from the position of Secretary of Housing & Urban Development to President of the United States after an explosion kills everyone ahead of him in the presidential line of succession.)
In The Dark (A blind woman finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation when her best friend turns up dead.)
Inventing Anna (A journalist with a lot to prove investigates the case of Anna Delvey, the Instagram-legendary German heiress who stole the hearts of New York’s social scene. And stole their money as well.)
Quantico (A look at the lives of young FBI recruits training at the Quantico base in Virginia when one of them is suspected of being a sleeper terrorist.)
Stay Close (The lives of a photojournalist, a soccer mom, and a homicide detective are disturbed by a terrible event from the past.)
The Chestnut Man (A young woman is found brutally murdered in a playground and one of her hands is missing. Above her hangs a small man that’s made up of chestnuts.)
The Stranger (Adam Price is a married man whose wife, Corrine, goes missing. When Adam is told a secret about his wife, his life changes forever.)
I also plan to watch the latest episodes of Ozark.
10 Netflix Movies On My List In Alphabetical Order:
21 Bridges (An embattled NYPD detective is thrust into a citywide manhunt for a pair of cop killers after uncovering a massive and unexpected conspiracy.)
Beckett (Following a tragic car accident in Greece, an American tourist finds himself at the center of a dangerous political conspiracy and on the run for his life.)
Calibre (A shocking deed turned their weekend trip into a nightmare. Now their only hope is to swallow their paranoia and act normal.)
I Am All Girls (A relentless detective finds common ground with a killer systematically targeting the perpetrators running a powerful child-trafficking ring.)
Shooter (A marksman living in exile is coaxed back into action after learning of a plot to kill the President. After being double-crossed for the attempt and on the run, he sets out for the real killer and the truth.)
Shot Caller (Trying to go straight, a once-successful businessman fresh out of prison is forced to orchestrate a brazen crime or risk his family.)
The Last Thing He Wanted (A veteran D.C. journalist loses the thread of her own narrative when a guilt-propelled errand for her father thrusts her from byline to unwitting subject in the very story she’s trying to break.)
The Town (A proficient group of thieves rob a bank and hold Claire, the assistant manager, hostage. Things begin to get complicated when one of the crew members falls in love with Claire.)
The Vanished (Story of a husband and wife that will stop at nothing to find their missing daughter, who disappeared on a family camping trip. When the police don’t catch any leads, the duo takes over.)
The Woman In The Window (Confined to her home by agoraphobia, a psychologist becomes obsessed with her new neighbors. And solves a brutal crime she witnesses from her window.)
I’ve already watched several movies. My favorite was “The Unforgivable” starring Sandra Bullock.
A Bit Of History On Netflix:
Netflix, in full Netflix, Inc., is a media-streaming and video-rental company. It was founded in 1997 by American entrepreneurs Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph.
It was originally a rent-by-mail DVD service that used a pay-per-rental model.
Users would browse and order the films they wanted on their website. You would put in an order, and Netflix would post them to your door with a prepaid return envelope.
In 2007 Netflix began offering subscribers the option to stream some of its movies and television shows directly to their homes through the Internet.
Netflix corporate headquarters are in Los Gatos, California.
The service’s basic plan costs $9.99 per month. Its standard tier costs $15.49 per month. Its 4K tier costs $19.99 per month.
Basic allows one stream, as well as episode/movie downloads to a single phone or tablet for offline viewing.
Standard allows two streams, and it downloads to two offline phones or tablets.
Premium allows four streams, and it downloads to four offline phones or tablets.
I subscribed to the standard tier at $15.49 per month.
