I recently signed back up with Netflix. Below are some of the Netflix shows on My List that I want to watch.

I typically watch several episodes of whatever TV series I’m involved in watching at night. And I tend to watch movies in the daytime.

My List contains both Netflix TV series and movies.

10 Netflix TV Series On My List In Alphabetical Order:

Anatomy Of A Scandal (A wife learns that her husband has been having an affair with an aide. The news goes public, blowing up their lives and forcing her to deal with the consequences of her husband’s disastrous decisions. To make matters worse, James is accused of rape and has to stand trial.)

Behind Her Eyes (A single mother enters a world of twisted mind games when she begins an affair with her psychiatrist boss while secretly befriending his mysterious wife.)

Clickbait (The Brewer family discovers that one of their own is missing and appears on a viral video. It contains a chilling message saying that he will die should the video reach 5 million views.)

Designated Survivor (An American academic suddenly ascends from the position of Secretary of Housing & Urban Development to President of the United States after an explosion kills everyone ahead of him in the presidential line of succession.)

In The Dark (A blind woman finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation when her best friend turns up dead.)

Inventing Anna (A journalist with a lot to prove investigates the case of Anna Delvey, the Instagram-legendary German heiress who stole the hearts of New York’s social scene. And stole their money as well.)

Quantico (A look at the lives of young FBI recruits training at the Quantico base in Virginia when one of them is suspected of being a sleeper terrorist.)

Stay Close (The lives of a photojournalist, a soccer mom, and a homicide detective are disturbed by a terrible event from the past.)

The Chestnut Man (A young woman is found brutally murdered in a playground and one of her hands is missing. Above her hangs a small man that’s made up of chestnuts.)

The Stranger (Adam Price is a married man whose wife, Corrine, goes missing. When Adam is told a secret about his wife, his life changes forever.)

I also plan to watch the latest episodes of Ozark.

The Last Thing He Wanted (A veteran D.C. journalist loses the thread of her own narrative when a guilt-propelled errand for her father thrusts her from byline to unwitting subject in the very story she’s trying to break.)

The Woman In The Window (Confined to her home by agoraphobia, a psychologist becomes obsessed with her new neighbors. And solves a brutal crime she witnesses from her window.)

I’ve already watched several movies. My favorite was “The Unforgivable” starring Sandra Bullock.

A Bit Of History On Netflix:

Netflix, in full Netflix, Inc., is a media-streaming and video-rental company. It was founded in 1997 by American entrepreneurs Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph.

It was originally a rent-by-mail DVD service that used a pay-per-rental model.

Users would browse and order the films they wanted on their website. You would put in an order, and Netflix would post them to your door with a prepaid return envelope.

In 2007 Netflix began offering subscribers the option to stream some of its movies and television shows directly to their homes through the Internet.

Netflix corporate headquarters are in Los Gatos, California.

Netflix Prices:

The service’s basic plan costs $9.99 per month. Its standard tier costs $15.49 per month. Its 4K tier costs $19.99 per month.

Basic allows one stream, as well as episode/movie downloads to a single phone or tablet for offline viewing.

Standard allows two streams, and it downloads to two offline phones or tablets.

Premium allows four streams, and it downloads to four offline phones or tablets.

I subscribed to the standard tier at $15.49 per month.

  1. Anatomy Of A Scandal is next on my list. I enjoyed Clickbait. When I worked for HBO year ago, a lot of people brushed off Netflix as a serious competitor. They surely have been proven wrong!

  2. Designated Survivor is awesome! You are going to wish Kiefer Sutherland is the real President! Such a class act. It first aired in the Fall of 2016 when “not my president…ever!” was in office. The actor who plays the White House Deputy Chief of Staff is very handsome…he is currently playing on the Fox show, The Cleaning Lady. The actor who plays The Press Secretary on the show is also a former White House staffer in the Obama Administration.

  3. I’ve seen a few of these, had a few others already in my queue, and picked up some good ideas from you of shows I’d not yet come across. I’m watching S1 of Manifest, a few episodes at a time but not every day. If you’ve not watched the movie Wind River, it’s a crime movie I thought was well done. Official Secrets (British limited series) was interesting to me.

  4. Anatomy of A Scandal was very good. great acting We watched it over 2 nights. It is 6 episodes. I try movies and if it doesn’t grab me right away I move on to another one. Your suggestions all sound good to me.

  5. I might add I watched This Is Her with Toni Collette OR I should say part of it. It was truly awful.

    1. Pieces of Her, perhaps? I thought it started off interesting but I didn’t enjoy the latter episodes as much.

  6. Thank you so much for all the information, Brenda. When my ‘contract’ with Direct TV expires later this year I plan to look into all these streaming services.
    Have a great day!

    1. I have Hulu with no ads for $12.99 a month and Netflix for $15.49 a month. So that’s $28.48 a month. I also watch a ton of shows on Amazon Prime Video and I pay by the year. I think I get my money’s worth out of it. It has lots of shows and movies, I can borrow books for my Kindle from their library, and I order my food from Whole Foods. Yes, now you have to pay right at $10 for the Whole Foods delivery and then I add a tip of about the same. Still, for someone who can no longer navigate the grocery stores, I’m thankful for it.

      1. I need to start utilizing the benefits I get with my Amazon Prime account. Doesn’t make sense not to, does it? Direct TV raised their price in November and I’m tired of it. Too expensive for me on a fixed income. Big Sigh! I don’t watch enough TV to warrant the expense.

  7. I myself like happier shows. You can’t beat grace and Frankie for laughter and sweet magnolias is also excellent

  8. For some reason I glossed
over Sandra Bullock’s movie but after your description of it I will watch it now. I’ve seen several of these movies. It is so hard to keep up now a days. And so frustrating when you see something advertised you’d like to watch only to find it on another streaming service which you don’t have!!!

  9. Wow!! All I noticed is blue jeans and socks. It’s almost 70 outside girl. Where are your shorts!!!! Of course I still have my heat on😬

  10. I watched Designated Survivor weekly on ABC and really enjoyed it. Quantico, too, which showed fascinating details on the training regimen agents endure. But I quit watching when it became too hard to follow over “who’s on whose side” in the terrorist plot. I just like to be entertained, not to do any deep thinking while I watch!
