  1. Your IG is off to a great start. I love the red flowers and pictures of your new dining area. Breana, may I ask where you got your sofa and if you think it’s comfortable? I’m on the search for one and I like the look of yours. Thanks.

  2. Brenda,
I was shocked to read the comment by Ann regarding her son’s girlfriend’s grandfather. EVERY Doctor I’ve listened to and spoke with says Don’t Get The Covid-19 vaccination if you have had the virus!

  3. Here’s a blurb from the following link ( https://www.nbcnews.com/science/science-news/what-mrna-how-pfizer-moderna-tapped-new-tech-make-coronavirus-n1248054 ) which you may find helpful. The entire article was informative, and I think it’s wise to say no one really knows how negatively it may manifest in each or any of us because there’s just not a single bit of history to look back on with regards to use of mRNA vaccines in humans.

“But as elegant a mechanism as this is in theory, mRNA vaccines have faced real biological challenges since they were first developed in the 1990s. In early animal studies, for instance, the vaccines caused worrisome inflammation.

“That became one of the big questions: How do you get this inside the body without creating an inflammatory response?” said Norman Baylor, president and CEO of Biologics Consulting and the former director of the FDA’s Office of Vaccines Research and Review.

Though neither company has reported any serious safety concerns so far, scientists will continue to monitor participants in both trials over time.

“There’s always a concern when you are trying to trick the immune system — which is what a vaccine does — that you could have unintended side effects,” Cannon said. “The immune system is incredibly complicated and it’s different from person to person.””

  4. Seems rather soon for the shot to cause issues, doesn’t it? We have been having lots of arthritis pain this winter…I figure it must be the frequent weather changes…when the barometric pressure changes…Hope you feel better soon…leave off the sugars for awhile too…sugar does nothing to stop pain…just saying…

  5. I had the same side effect, sometimes I felt heavy even like my legs are made of stone, I can tell you it did get better after about a week.

  6. I have severe arthritis. Some days I ache so much I can barely move. I’ve had both shots now, the Moderna. However, I had no reaction to it at all. Even the injection site was pain free. Now the shingles shot was a different story. My arm aches for a few days but was severely sore. I think everyone’s immune system reacts differently. My son had no reaction to the shot but my daughter in law had the Johnson and Johnson shot and she explained a little fever. She, however, is a bit of a hypochondriac. She heads to bed at the onset of a sniffle. People I’ve read all experience different reactions. I had my second shot three weeks ago but yesterday I was in so much arthritis pain that I could accomplish nothing. I don’t think for me there was any correlation. I think yesterday was a bad day on its own . Hope you’re feeling better today.

  7. https://www.arthritis.org/health-wellness/about-arthritis/related-conditions/other-diseases/covid-19-faqs-medication-treatment-and-vaccines#:~:text=A%3A%20COVID%2D19%20vaccines%20can,and%20muscle%20or%20joint%20pain. “Question: What are the possible side effects of a COVID-19 vaccine?

A: COVID-19 vaccines can cause mild side effects, such as pain, redness or swelling where the shot was given, fever, fatigue, headache, chills and muscle or joint pain. These side effects are normal and signs that your immune system is building protection against the virus. Most side effects occur within the first three days of vaccination and usually only last a day or two.

  8. I got my first vaccine (Moderna) 2 weeks ago. I have fibromyalgia and some arthritis, and for the first week my pain really increased. It was like the vaccine woke up those symptoms.

  9. I had the same side effect with my second shot. I have osteoarthritis in my hip and after the second shot it was very painful when I was trying to sleep. By the next afternoon that intense pain went away !

  10. With my second Moderna vaccination, I had a headache, body aches, joint aches, and generally felt bad for about two days. Once it went away, I’ve been fine ever since. Maybe that’s what’s happening with you.

  11. A friend of ours had no problem with his first shot but the second one gave him intense pain all over his body — as he says “from the bottom of my feet to my nose”. It lasted a few days and then dissipated.

His wife had to be taken to ER after the first shot because she developed difficulty breathing and they discovered inflammation on the wall between her heart and rib cage. With the second shot she had to take time off from work for a couple of days because of extreme fatigue and discomfort.

My son’s girlfriend’s grandfather (in his 80’s) survived the Corona virus a few months ago but died four days after taking the second vaccine shot.

    1. The vaccine may have something to do with your increased arthritis pain. Hubby had his 1st Phizer vaccine 10 days ago and he got much worse with pain and swelling and is till hobbling around. He has osteoarthritis and psoriatic arthritis. Said he felt like he had a low grade flu for 24 hrs.
What is the name of the beautiful plant in the 1st pic on the table, closest to the arm of your sofa? It is
also in the 2nd row of your pics on instagram on the end.

  12. Welcome to the world of Instagram! I believe you’re going to enjoy it.
I’m off to peek in and, of course, start following you! 🙂
    Have a blissful Sunday, Brenda.

  13. Happy Sunday,
Glad you are loving IG. I am not on there much but it is fun. I just like blogging interactions more. I should try to go on my account more and add more photos. Have a great start to the new week.

  14. I saw your IG board, I think I’m a follower:)
I had terrible pains in my legs after my 2nd shot, didn’t connect it to the vaccine though.

    1. Pat, did the pain dissipate in your legs? If so, how long did it take? Thanks.
