  1. Your trees around the fireplace look magical, Brenda! You have such a knack for cozy, warm decor. I love it. And no, I haven’t read anything good lately, but all three of those books sound intriguing. My daughter is an avid reader and has been exploring the classics lately…so I bought her Jane Eyre to put under the tree. I’ve never read it, but the movie was on TCM the other night and it was good. 😉

  2. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your tree, and all of the little surrounding trees. I would not go out either if I had such a cosy looking space. I forgot about your fireplace, it looks like the perfect place to spend an afternoon reading.

  3. I just finished the newest Louise Penny book: “All the Devils are Here”. I wonder if you have read her books? The books all feature Chief Inspector Gamache and are set in a lovely village south of Montreal near the Vermont border., and focus on Gamache, his family and the people in his village There are 16 books in the series and I have loved reading them in order!

    1. My youngest daughter gets them to read after I’ve read them. Then I think she gives them to her church library.

  6. I recently finished one that you had recommended called The Last Flight. It was really good! Page turner for sure. I read it in one night!
