My Book Review:
This book combines a mysterious double murder, a death-row inmate’s fight for justice, and an FBI investigation that uncovers secrets reaching far beyond one criminal case.
The Last Mile is a suspenseful crime thriller and the second book in David Baldacci’s Amos Decker series.
I read the first book in The Memory Man Series and absolutely loved it. Book 2 did not disappoint!
Amos Decker has “perfect recall” due to a brain injury during a football game when he was younger. It changed his personality.
People often think he is on the autism spectrum. But his perfect recall gives him quite an edge when solving crimes with the FBI.
If you enjoy FBI investigations, cold cases, and thrillers in which a crime reveals a much larger conspiracy, The Last Mile is worth a read.
David Baldacci is a phenomenal writer and writes action-packed novels. I’ve never read any of his books that I didn’t love! Great read!

He is my favorite author. I have read all of his books. Just finished the one you reviewed a week ago. Read it in two days – couldn’t put it down. A great read!
