Here’s what all was done to Kendra’s latest rent house flip in Broken Arrow (a suburb of Tulsa). The house has two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms.
She put in new windows, siding, HVAC/ductwork, and insulation.

Kendra put in a new hot water tank and updated the laundry room. As well as remodeling the kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, lighting, and plumbing fixtures.
She added a new privacy fence, a deck, gutters, interior and exterior paint. and new landscaping along with tree work.

Above is my 20-year-old grandson Riley before he went back to college this fall. He was helping his mom paint her newest flip house that will be a rental. As you can see, the house is very dated.

This house didn’t have a lot going for it. Just a plain little house that had not been shown much love over the years. It needed someone to come in with a vision and give it new life.
Bringing New Life To The House:

Kendra restored the front door. She said the guys working with her couldn’t understand why she wouldn’t just go buy a new door. But this is all part of Kendra’s rent house flip strategy. To restore what once held beauty with the house when it was originally built.
I think she did a fantastic job on that wood door in her latest flip. That took a lot of grunt work.

My daughter and I share a love of old houses. She is able to love them back to life. I’m better with the interior of a home. I don’t have the creativity for the remodeling/renovating that she does.

This is the laundry area, now updated and ready for a new washer and dryer.

Whoever lived here last would not recognize the house after Kendra completely remodeled it. It would be interesting to bring them in to see it.
The first renters to occupy the house will have a pretty place to call home where attention was brought to every detail. It is almost like having a brand new home.
The Bathrooms:

I like the wallpaper she chose for one of the bathrooms, as well as the scalloped mirror in the other one. The black vanity with gold pull handles looks elegant.
She brought her vision of this house together by fixing whatever needed fixing or replacing. And using a color combination of black and white throughout the home.

She added a deck to the house for outdoor seating or a table and chairs.
Whoa, that’s a big backyard. I’d hate to have to mow it. But if someone rents this house who has children, they’ll have lots of yard to play in. This giant yard makes Kendra’s latest rent house flip ideal for families.

It would be helpful to compare with alternative information. Because it sounds like for most deals, the return is marginally better than five nights at freddy’s passive index funds.
Wow! She did a really great job! Iโm sorry you canโt afford the rent, because it would be perfect for you. Imagine what you could do with a back yard like that!!! Flowers and plants explosion!!
Very pretty. I’m not a fan of white walls, but I do like white kitchen cabinets and the black and white bathrooms. I hope she finds a suitable renter. I saw some 2 bedroom homes advertised in Tulsa for over $2,000 a month.
Looks absolutely beautiful!
This house looks amazing and I love that black and white wallpaper. Is this in the neighborhood right off South Main Street? I think you should think about renting it yourself! As a Broken Arrow girl myself, I think you would love living here. It’s by far the prettiest town I’ve ever seen anywhere. Sitting out on the sidewalks on Main Street and having dinner in what’s called the Rose District because of the rose bushes and all the flower baskets is so much fun. In fact, I’m going out there with friends tonight. I own my house and love it, and the only reason I would sell it would be to be free of the maintenance, repairs, and keeping 5 acres looking nice all the time. It’s exhausting and expensive! All houses need something or other from time to time and what better landlord could you have than your own daughter. It’s like a brand new house and there shouldn’t be any problems with it but none of that would be your problem! Ownership at our ages is not all it’s cracked up to be. If I live long enough to not have horses, I’ll be out of here and I won’t buy again.
I can’t afford the rent. It’s $1750.
Hi Brenda ๐
Would you be able to buy the house if Kendra was selling it?
Wow, she did a great job. And it is nice to know there are flippers that don’t skimp but put effort and thought into making a house a stable and secure place to live.
I’ve seen several small houses I like but I don’t want to have to replace the basics in order to be comfortable and safe. Those old doors are nice and solid.
She’s impressive and does a great job!
Kendra is so talented..the home is lovely.. it does take a good eye to remodel. Love the half bath.
I love these types of posts. Your daughter has a knack and a gift—just like her mother! You invision things and then make them happen. Thanks for an uplifting Saturday post ๐
All I have to say is “WOW”. Amazing and hard work and how beautiful it turned out. Kendra certainly knows what she is doing. Just Brilliant!!!!!!
Kendra does a fantastic job remodeling her homes. Like you said, it would be fun to see the previous owners reaction to the remodel.
