The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 wrapped up filming in March 2023. The Lincoln Lawyer (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) was one of Netflix’s best new shows for 2022.

Season 2 Premiers:

Season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer premiered on Netflix on July 6, 2023, with five episodes.

The second release of 5 episodes will be released on August 3, 2023.

Season 1 followed Connelly’s second book, “The Brass Verdict.”

Season 2 (10 episodes) is an adaptation of Michael Connelly’s fourth book, “The Fifth Witness.”

The second season centers around Mickey taking on the defense of Lisa Trammel, a chef accused of a murdering a businessman.

Episode 1: The Rules of Professional Conduct

Mickey Haller gets beat up in a parking garage.

In the first season there was an incident in a parking garage when Hollywood attorney Jerry Vincent was shot dead. This led to Mickey inheriting Vincent’s cases.

Episode 2: Obligations

Mickey receives valuable advice from Siegel, which helps him safeguard his career and protect his family.

Episode 3: Conflicts

Taking on Lisa Trammell’s murder case after they’ve been intimate creates a conflict of interest.

Episode 4: Discovery

Mickey Haller played hardball in court in order to secure People Vs. Lisa Trammell discovery materials in a timely manner.

Episode 5: Suspicious Minds

Mickey (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) squares off with Andrea (Yaya DaCosta) at the preliminary hearing for Lisa’s (Lana Parrilla) murder, forcing her to reveal her bombshell piece of evidence.

The Plot Of The Lincoln Lawyer:

Sidelined after an accident for almost a year, in Season 1 Mickey Haller was back in the courtroom, having recovered from a drug habit.

When Hollywood lawyer Jerry Vincent is murdered, Mickey Haller learned that he’d inherited his law practice. Vincent was shot dead in a parking garage by a man who stole his briefcase.

But as Haller prepares for the case that could launch him into the big time, he learns that Vincent’s killer may be coming for him next.

The Cast:

The main cast for Season 1 has signed back up for Season 2.

Returning alongside Garcia-Rulfo (Mickey Haller) are Campbell, Newton, Angus Sampson, Jazz Raycole, Krista Warner, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, and Elliott Gould.

Also joining the cast for Season 2 are Lana Parrilla, Yaya DaCosta, Matt Angel, Angélica María, and David Clayton Rogers.
