In The Love Of Home Files #21, I’ve found Cape Cod-style decorating for you to see, along with several DIYs and recipes to try.

A love of home is a deep affection for the space where you feel most yourself. Itโs more than liking how your house looksโitโs about the comfort, safety, and belonging it gives you. Itโs the joy of familiar routines, the scent of something cooking in your kitchen, the way light filters through the curtains in the morning.
Loving your home means caring for it, tending to it like a living thing. You notice the detailsโhow a cozy corner feels after you add a soft throw, or how a favorite chair seems to hold the memory of peaceful moments. Itโs a sense of pride in creating a place that reflects who you are and welcomes others.
Ultimately, a love of home is about sanctuary. Itโs knowing that no matter what happens outside, within these walls, you can rest, dream, and simply be.
