The Love Of Home Files #21
In The Love Of Home Files #21, I’ve found Cape Cod style decorating for you to see. Along with several DIYs and recipes to try.
Colorful Summer Cottage:
This Cape Cod-style living room in Santa Monica was torn down to the studs. And the entire floor plan and front elevation was restored to it’s original beauty.
Tour This Peter Rabbit Collection:
Liz from Liz Marie has amassed a collection of Beatrix Potter books, figurines, and other memorabilia celebrating Peter and his woodland pals.
How To Paint Wash Furniture:
Repurpose & Upcycle will show you how to paint wash furniture to mute outdated furniture tones.
Bring Your Personality To Your Decor:
Nell Hill says that decorating a home is about thoughtfully constructing a space that celebrates the people who live there. What we love, what is precious from our past, and what we dream of for the future.
She believes that you should infuse a space with your unique personality layer by layer, as evidenced in this colorful bedroom.
DIY Natural Dishwasher Detergent Pods:
Lindsey from Hello Nest came up with her own recipe for homemade dishwasher detergent tablets.
Sparkling Lime Mint Punch (Mocktail):
This lime and mint punch is very much like a mojito without the alcohol. It is a great addition to have at a party, event, brunch or holiday.
Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp & Broccoli:
Wendie from Butter Your Biscuit has a recipe for honey garlic butter shrimp and broccoli.
Parmesan Potato Stacks In Muffin Tin:
John from Cook Top Cove created a recipe for muffin-size cheesy potato casseroles.
Mini Pecan Pies:
My Nourished Home created a recipe for mini pecan pies. Apparently once it is cooked it disappears pretty quickly because it is beloved by the whole family.
What a nice Peter Rabbit collection!
Oh my gosh, I love the mini pecan pies! That’s one of my favorite pies. You had a lot of interesting things this week. I loved the Peter Rabbit collection. And I loved all the color in the different rooms. So pretty! And the shrimp recipe sounds delicious.
Love the decor links and those mini pecan pies looks so yummy! Thanks for the links, Brenda.
