I’m showing you thrift shopping finds for July and August, which I found with Rhonda. I decided to put everything on the floor and then list it below.

In Thrift Shopping Finds July & August 2025, there is a wooden box, a framed botanical print, three rolling pins, a fall print and a Halloween print. A framed quilted little girl shape, and a white pitcher.

I lucked out on Friday. Rhonda and I went to a couple of thrift stores and then headed to the River City Trading Post in Jenks. River City had upped its game from when I was there a few years ago. They had a lot more stuff.

I’d already found the embellished books when we were on another thrift shopping adventure.

List Of Finds:

  • Fall picture of leaves and orange pumpkins (River City Trading Post Antique Mall)
  • Halloween picture of a witch with a black cat (found at RCTP)
  • Small framed & quilted girl with bonnet (from another thrifting adventure)
  • White pitcher (RCTP)
  • Embellished books (found on another shopping trip)

Above these items:

  • A botanical print. (River City Trading Post)
  • Three rolling pins (RCTP shopping)
A white chalkboard for restaurant menus, another botanical print, a crow on a pumpkin framed print, orange hanging glass candle holder, skull candle, acorn shaped candle, stuffed cat, sack of faux fall leaves.
  • Chalkboard menu like those used in restaurants (found on another thrift shopping trip)
  • Another fall print you can see part of in this photo (found on Friday at RCTP)
  • Cat doll (found on Friday at RCTP)
  • Acorn-shaped candle (found on Friday at RCTP)
  • Sack of faux fall leaves (found on Friday at another thrift store)
While Thrift Shopping Finds July & August 2025, I found the large basket with the white baby dress laid on top. A galvanized can with fall image, beige faux pumpkin, orange ceramic pumpkin with lid, green striped bowl, fall prints, vintage bottle.
  • Galvanized can with fall image (RCTP)
  • Beige pumpkin (RCTP)
  • Large basket (RCTP)
  • White baby dress (you’ve already seen it & it was from another store)
  • Vintage advertising tin (RCTP)
  • Vintage gas can (RCTP)
  • Orange ceramic pumpkin (RCTP)
  • Four framed fall prints (RCTP)
  • Green striped bowl (from another trip)

I was shocked at the low prices when we shopped at the River City Trading Post Antique Mall in Jenks on Friday. Most of the stuff I found there would have been priced higher at the thrift shops we go to. Many thrift shops aren’t as cheap as they once were.

Did you notice that little cat doll? It was $2. I doubt I could make it for that price unless I already had the necessary items.

A Better Look At The Fall Prints:

The great thing about these framed prints is that they’re depicting the fall months, so they’re not only for Halloween.

Closer look at the four framed fall prints.
  • Vintage jar

These things are from all the thrifting and antique store trips Rhonda and I have gone on in the past few months. What I was mainly looking for were cheap items to decorate for fall and Halloween. I accomplished that. And then some!

Also for the fall season, I found the acorn-shaped candle, the orange ceramic pumpkin with a lid. I found a few faux fall beige pumpkins to add to my fall decor, which I’ll be arranging and styling soon. The galvanized can with the fall image and the orange hanging jar for candles.

The two botanical prints can be used year-round. I love anything with botanicals, because I’m a nature girl.

The big basket became a cat bed. Mama had to get something for her kitties. In the next few days, I will create vignettes showing the styled versions of my thrifting finds.

I must not forget the sideboard I found while out with Rhonda. It’s my favorite find!

    Happy Falloween!
I LOVE the treasures you found. I would love RCTP as well.
I think my favorite is the picture of the crow and pumpkin. The cat dol is so cute.
If all goes well, this weekend will be the start of the summer to fall
    transformation at my home.
    Thank you for the inspiration.

  2. Love the botanical and leaf prints! Also the pinecone candle. I’ve looked and can’t find an acorn candle?
Glad you’re having fun and getting around so well.

One man’s junk is another man’s treasure…it is SO TRUE!! Some of my favorite clothes came from the thrift shop…I would have happily paid way more to get them new I liked them so, if I had any idea even WHERE to find such. Also, some of my best cookware, and a wonderful electric skillet…that one only cost me $3 on sale. It is still plugging along, yet one I paid nearly $300 for bit the dust a long time ago. GO figure…Also found some gorgeous antique plates here and there…so fun hunting. Looks like you found a lot in a short time!!

  6. You did well! My faves are the framed fall leaf prints.
Can’t wait to see which of your fur balls claims the new bed for themselves!

Fall is my favorite season and I love your decorations. I like that pine cone shaped candle. Will you light it? I can see it (and a few more like ones) lit on my Thanksgiving dinner table.

    Best,
    Bonnie

  8. That side board was an AMAZING find! Also my favorite, and you got a lot of cool things. I can’t wait to see how you style your house this Fall! Thrifting is fun! We might need a post on how you rotate and store all of these wonderful finds! That’s what I sometimes have trouble with. The things I leave out all year are no problem, but if I have a lot of seasonal things, then I have to figure out how and where to store them. That might be a good post to read about how you handle this dilemma. I’d be interested for the help anyway.
