Crazy weather. It’s cool today. Like some people will actually wear sweaters cool. Hot then cool. Cool then hot. Like I said, crazy weather.
I wear shorts until I just can’t anymore because I don’t like more restrictive pants. Kind of like the weird thing where I can’t stand to wear a turtle neck or have tags in my shirts. Just the way I’m wired I guess.
The zinnia seeds I planted mid-summer aren’t nearly as pretty as the ones I planted earlier in the season. These are taller but not as lush. But I love to have blooms and so I’ll take it.
The seeds were all ordered from the same company, and I have the earlier zinnia seeds saved for next year.
The air conditioning is working. They told me that the inside unit isn’t more than 5-6 years old. That’s when I moved in after the fire they had in here. It’s the outside unit that’s really old.
They said there was a lot of cat hair in the part they cleaned out. Well yes, I have Ivy. I also have two air purifiers and some hair gets sucked up, but not a lot.
Could it be cheap filters? Because I change them once per month. Could that be letting in too much cat hair?
Charlie is having a hard time with the sudden weather shift. Coughing a lot. Hard for either one of us to sleep. Hopefully he can adjust soon.
I’m well into the second season of “Breaking Bad” on Netflix. I saw online this morning that a movie, “Breaking Bad El Camino” is coming out next week. So I’ll be watching that.
It’s an interesting series. I don’t typically like shows that feature men as much. And it took me a few episodes to get into the groove with this one, but now I watch 2-3 episodes each evening.
I like both the main actors. They are great in their roles and really intense in their portrayal of the characters.
I had to order Ivy a new scratching post. She was going through one every six weeks. This one is taller and more durable. She loves it because it’s tall and she can really stretch out.
Here is the link if you want to take a look at it for your cat.
It’s twice the price of the other ones I was getting her at Petsmart, but if it lasts longer than a month or so, it will be worth it. She could rip those to shreds quick.
And that’s fine, because Ivy does not scratch my furniture. She loves her scratching post.
I would take a photo of Ivy and Charlie for you, but they’re both asleep. Ivy is snoozing on the table next to me. Charlie is asleep in the chair next to me. I don’t want to wake my babies.
