   • Go to a wooded trail, wear your favorite chunky knit sweater, and boots. Make a conscious effort to walk where the leaves are thickest and driest just for the sound.

   • Whether it’s a lattice-top apple pie, an intricately designed pumpkin bread with pumpkin seeds, or “apple rose” pastries, the goal is “almost too pretty to eat.”
5. Build a “Cozy Reading Nook” (Even Temporarily)

This is the time to make sure you have cocoa stocked in the kitchen. Purchase marshmallows and pumpkin spices for those cool fall evenings.

Get the ingredients to make a simmer pot. Open the window and let the breeze carry the cozy scent outdoors.

I was cruising Pinterest when I stopped at this Tuscan White Bean Soup. What better way to warm your tummy than with a healthy soup on cool fall evenings? Cannellini Beans are full of healthy fats, vitamins, and plant-based protein.

I was also impressed with her Dairy-Free Baked Potato Soup. It sounds delicious, and potato soup is my absolute favorite soup!

Autumn-Themed Pumpkin Throw Pillow Covers

Are you tempted to order these autumn-themed pillow covers? These pillow covers are 18×18, fluffy and plush, and a nice, thrifty way to celebrate the fall season.

Easy Maple Chicken (In The Skillet)

This Maple Chicken Recipe (with Dijon mustard) contains butter, flour, mustard, maple syrup, thyme, and garlic. Fry it in a skillet. It looks so delicious, I feel like I can almost smell and taste it!

It’s That Pumpkin Time of Year

Choose one of your larger wooden cutting boards. Place various-sized pumpkins, acorns, and fall leaves on it. It’s an instant vignette, one of the simplest ideas I found in fall Pinterest finds.

Rustic Apple Galette With Caramel Sauce

This apple galette is like a little mini pie. Bake until the outside is slightly brown and crispy. Serve with ice cream.

Light a fall-themed candle. Sit down with a book, a favorite TV show, or a movie with a mug of hot chocolate. Don’t forget the marshmallows!
