Get yourself a cup of coffee or tea and sit down to look at the linky-loos I’ve found this week for New & Notable Mentions.
Check out this post on pantry cabinet ideas for fall organization.
I just adore this sweet apartment in Berlin. I could live there and slip out to the balcony with a cup of coffee every morning.
This patio makeover caught my attention with all the pretty colors.
I learned how to make zinnia plants become fuller and less leggy by reading this post.
Down The Rabbit Hole:
The other day I started reading posts from this blog and went down the proverbial rabbit hole! Her photos are so lovely. Here’s her take on a fall tablescape for two.
Jenna Sue shows her favorite finds for fall. Everyone seems to be in the mood to hygge their home for fall this year. Maybe it’s the ramping up again of COVID.
Below Jenna is using some of the fall decor finds in her living room. The colors are perfect.
Eats & Treats:
Peach cobbler reminds me of my childhood when I lived with my grannies. Their peach cobbler was traight from the canned jars in the cellar. Pinch Of Yum has a peach cobbler recipe that looks divine.
The Plain Chicken blog has a recipe I’d love to try called French Onion Smothered Chicken. Wouldn’t that be tasty with the peach cobbler?
Stephanie not only has terrific recipes, but she also has what she calls “Meow Monday.” She shows photos of her cats and they’re so stinking cute!
Miss Ivy isn’t the color of orange marmalade, but she could give black and white cows a run for their money with her black spots!
Ivy really wanted her photo here today because of the pretty orange kitties. She didn’t want to be left out of the fun.
Yes Ivy, Momma thinks you’re just as pretty.
Ivy In Her Basket:
“Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”– Thomas A. Edison
I’d live in that Berlin apartment in a second, and I love the deck makeover. Cute kitties, and Ivy is striking quite the pose!
Ivy is prettier.
Thanks for sharing, going to make that peach cobbler. Little miss Ivy is just purrfect!
There’s some really great links here, Brenda – thanks! Love that Scandinavian apartment in Berlin. So fresh and retro; love the artwork, too. Loving the fall finds on the Jenna Sue Design Co site. And there’s a lot to look at on the Deb and Danelle site. I’ll be bookmarking that one to look at in-depth when I have some more time. Have a great weekend!
Love the quote and oh that peach cobbler…needing to use up some peaches here and will adapt for gluten free…and dairy free…and should taste fine!! YUMMY!!
Ivy is beautiful! I love it when you show pictures of her!
These links are all fabulous, Brenda! I’m dying over all the pretty pops of pink in the Berlin apartment and the patio before and after doesn’t even look like the same space which is so cool. Love the capture of Ivy too. Those eyes – just gorgeous! Hope your week is off to a great start, CoCo
Hi Brenda,
this is a whole cuppa coffee lingering over your fabulous post! This is a keeper! So many different ideas and that chicken recipe… Yeah!
Have a wonderful weekend!
BTW, your patio is more to my liking; your plants are voluptious and the whole area feels like a private park.
Have a great weekend
I love the pink kitchen in the Berlin apartment and Jenna’s coffee table. I love anything made with peaches so I will be making the peach cobbler recipe! I’m also going to make the French onion smothered chicken! Ivy is just as pretty as the orange kitties, even prettier!
While I admire the sweet, sunny balcony in the Berlin apartment, I don’t find the rest of it anywhere as appealing as your place! She has too much of everything! Color, patterns, and “things”…..none of the serenity and coordination of what you’ve accomplished in your artistic, calming environment! Also, even that balcony exposes one to the eyes of many other windows. Your patio is 100% private….my choice, too, by far!
All of these are wonderful. I love the apartment too. Have a good weekend.
