  1. Better Call Saul is very good. Be sure and watch El Camino. It ties in with in with BB and BCS.

  2. Hi. So sorry to hear about your friend, Lisa. Hope it heals well and she has no more issues with falls, etc. I haven’t read any of Harlan Coben’s yet, but they are on my list. I have already watched a few of the Netflix movies he wrote and helped produce (from his books). Wow! They are really good. If you haven’t seen them, I bet you would like them – they usually have 8 episodes each. You kitty looks so pretty sitting on the chair.
I’m a big fan of Tex-Mex – ha-ha, I live outside of Houston, in Katy. We have an abundance of Tex-Mex and many other restaurants here. Although we don’t go out like we used to being on a fixed income now. Has Oklahoma’s prices gone skyhigh like Texas?

  3. So sorry for your friend Lisa. A medical emergency necklace might be a good idea for her to have. Luckily she has good neighbors like you to check on her. Praying that her ankle heals well.

  4. I love Harlan Coben! it never fails when I read his works that I can’t put the book down! So sorry about your friend. it is hard and (sometimes) scary living alone when we have medical issues. I pray her ankle heals properly.

  5. Oh my your poor friend…well, hopefully she has better care than you had and if she will do some supplementing it may heal ok. I try to add one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019CWSMI8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 to soups and other recipes…for the extra collagen. It comes in chicken as well. In the old days we got a lot more collagen naturally in our food because we cooked with bones etc. Also, hope Lisa will see a person well versed in nutrition…she may need extra magnesium, vit. C etc as well.
Hubby and I have had infections of all sorts to do with UTIs etc…so we now take cranberry in capsules daily, as well as malic acid capsules to help with passing any kidney or gall stones that may come. Hubby was getting kidney stones several times and I have seen a few tiny ones from me too…but with taking these capsules along with other nutrients, so far, no pain and no blockage. My nurse friend told me that malic acid helps with all sorts of such things, not just gall stones. We MUST supplement today if we want to be healthy because it is so hard to find truly whole good foods now. I hope you feel better soon!! Glad you got to go to restaurant with your daughter. Glad you have one that the food is good. We have yet to find anything remarkable in our area, thus I cook almost all meals now…I am lazy enough to wish to go out at times, but I HATE poorly prepared meals that cost us $35 minimum!! One thing that covid did was get folks cooking more. Probably not what the creators of that germ really had in mind!!

  6. Best of luck to your neighbor Lisa. You’ve had a rough time since you broke your ankle. My husband broke his in 2021 and hasn’t had a good time of it either. He had it fused last summer after at least 6 surgeries because it’s the only remaining option for him, due to all of his other health issues. Otherwise, the doctor has talked more than once about amputation.

  7. Oh poor Lisa! I hope she is ok. Please keep us updated on her, and let her know I’m sending prayers her way. It was nice of you to loan her your knee scooter. I hope it helps her. I’m glad to hear Greg is still coming to help you with your therapy, etc. He’s been very good to you. The picture of Ivy is adorable! And I’m so glad you got to have lunch and spend a little time with Kasi. Did she bring Andrew with her?
