10 Christmas Vignettes On Display
Below are 10 Christmas vignettes on display.
Vignettes are so much fun to create. I’ve made my fair share over the years.
This year I decided I’d do a lot of vignettes instead of putting up a Christmas tree. I just don’t think I’m up to it this year.
It seems like every time I put up a Christmas tree, I’m never truly “done” with it. A branch will look like it needs a little work and I’m up and trying to get it just right.
I’d drive myself crazy getting up and down, when my up and downer doesn’t work as good these days.
So vignettes it is.
Below are 10 vignettes I found on Pinterest that caught my eye.
1. Tree & Ornament Vignette
This tabletop surface is grounded by the tree with red ornaments and gold stars. Then there are ornaments in the wood bowl and a scattering of them outside the bowl.
All are displayed in front of a mirror that reflects the scene back into the room.
2. Kitchen Vignette
It’s amazing to me how you can pair various things that have nothing to do with one another and have it look like this.
There’s not a whole lot of “Christmas” arranged on this surface. But just enough that it tells you it’s Christmastime in the kitchen.
3. Neutral Decor On A Dresser
Oh, Deb and Danelle. I follow them because they come up with the best stuff. Things they find on their travels and thrifting. All for their new home they built.
A Santa and vintage books and a framed Santa painting. A paired down tree and a candle glowing in a vintage bowl.
That chunky throw tells me there’s going to be some nap time on the couch.
4. A Coffee Table Vignette
Coffee tables commonly have vignettes arranged on them, whether they be round or rectangular.
This round tray with books and the garland of beads, a candle and a splash of greenery on a distressed table.
5. Just Barely Christmas Vignette
This is what I call a “barely there” vignette. Greenery is the only element that gives the impression of Christmas decor. But it’s just enough.
6. Trees & Snow Flakes Vignette
How adorable are these neutral Santa mugs with bottle brush trees in them. A jar of cookie cutters.
And a simple string with little trees and old postcards. Surrounded by snowflakes and lights.
7. A Dough Bowl Of Ornaments
A simple arrangement of scattered Shiny Brite ornaments is all this surface needs to say it’s Christmastime. A colorful beaded garland surrounds it.
8. Vintage Sled Vignette
A neutral vignette arranged on a vintage sled. Little trees on old pieces of wood and a Santa taking center stage.
9. Sparkling Houses Vignette
This row of colorful houses are a small village backed up to trees behind them.
10. A Display Of Santas Vignette
The more Santa figurines the better! Next to a display of vintage Christmas cards.
A vignette is an arrangement of anything you want it to be. I’d say three pieces of decor is the objective here.
Have lots of fun with Christmas themed vignettes!
I’m excited to see all the different vignettes you put together. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s post! I liked the 3 houses and the tree in front of the mirror.
Brenda, Can’t wait to see what vignettes you put together. As always you have great ideas !
Everything is lovely!!! I’m especially smitten with the three row houses in pastel colors. Thank you for sharing!
I love every single one of these! All so beautiful.
PS – I don’t know if it’s just my computer, but your photos take a super long time to load on your blog posts. Sometimes I have to let your page sit for awhile to load and then come back to it.
Oooh, I like White Tail Farmhouse’s vignette. And Wyse Guide decorating for Christmas on Youtube. Other than on my mantel, which for some reason seems to be easy (easier?) to decorate yearly, I find trying to create vignettes on my bookshelves with Christmas-y items during the holiday season just doesn’t turn out the way I would like. Maybe I need to add some seasonal real or faux greenery, or grow some talent for putting vignettes together.
