I’m sharing 10 Christmas beverages if you want to try different drink recipes at your next holiday gathering.

In 10 Christmas Beverages,

A good beverage will usually motivate everyone to celebrate and have fun.

1. Easy Jingle Juice Holiday Punch:

Michael, from Inspired By Charm, has wonderful alcoholic beverage recipes.

Easy Jingle Juice Holiday Punch is his creation, and he says it only needs three ingredients.

For variety, mix a couple of drinks in pitchers ahead of time and keep them chilled (hold any carbonated mixers until it’s time to serve). Set the pitchers on a table with glasses, garnishes, and an ice bucket, and you’re free to mingle.

2. Easy White Christmas Margarita Recipe:

Krista from Joyful Healthy Eats created this margarita recipe. Is there anyone on the planet who doesn’t like a good margarita?

She says these Easy White Christmas Margaritas are pretty smooth. She makes them in a pitcher so she can entertain instead of mixing drinks.

If you’re making drinks for a crowd and don’t have a punch bowl, don’t despair. Instead, mix the recipe into several pitchers or a large drink dispenser.

3. Rudolph’s Tipsy Spritzer:

This beverage was created by Cheryl at Tidy Mom. She says this drink will make you feel jolly in no time.

Mix a single drink or make a whole pitcher for a crowd.

4. Christmas Cookie Cocktail:

Jaclyn at Crayons & Cravings created this vodka and Kahlua recipe. She says this drink is fast and easy to put together.

And it tastes like a frosted sugar cookie. Yum!

5. Cranberry Mimosa Christmas Punch:

Milisa created this cranberry beverage at Miss In The Kitchen.

Milisa lives on a cattle ranch in Oklahoma. She also has many delicious recipes you can check out if you’re looking for new ones.

6. White Christmas Sangria:

The Schmidty Wife came up with this recipe, and the presentation is quite lovely. Lauren strongly believes in having a separate sangria for every holiday.

7. Salted Caramel White Russian:

Kate at Kate La Vie put this recipe together. She says it is smooth and delicious.

This Salted Caramel White Russian recipe has only a few ingredients, so it can be whipped together quickly.

8. Raspberry Champagne Punch Bellini Recipe:

This Bellini recipe is by Kim Inspired. She’s known for her DIY crafts, but she’s also a whiz in the kitchen.

9. Gingerbread Martini:

Lauren at Delicious Little Bites put together this beverage recipe that is perfect for a Christmas gathering.

This drink only requires three ingredients.

10. Naughty Elf Cocktail:

Kelly and Jenn at Sweet & Savory Morsels say this cocktail drink is inspired by the naughty elf who gets into so much trouble while children sleep.

That’s 10 new drinks you can serve at Christmas gatherings. Each one looks quite tasty.

You can double or triple the ingredients if you’re planning a party.

From margaritas to Bellinis, there’s a little something here for everyone. With these beverage recipes, you can make a drink for one or serve a whole crowd.

To make this cocktail into a mocktail for children, replace the spiced rum and liquors with juice.

Responsible Party Host Tips: Party Planning

  • Have designated drivers. Plan to have sober drivers at your party who can escort folks home. Volunteer to be a sober driver at someone else’s party.
  • Plan to get keys. Prepare a basket or bowl where your guests can leave their keys. Let everyone know that you are the only person who can retrieve the keys. This way, you can examine all of your guests before they leave.
  • Have a cab fare fund. Having cash on hand to pay cab fare for your guests, if needed, reduces stress. If you can’t afford it, ask your guests to pitch in a few bucks on your invitation.
  • Have a cab company’s phone number handy. Print the name of a local cab company on your invitation and ask your guests to program it into their mobile phones.
  • Purchase non-alcoholic beverages. Always have soft drinks, juices, and other non-alcoholic beverages available for guests who are driving or choose not to drink.
  • Plan to be sober. Be a responsible host. Limiting your alcohol intake will help you determine better whether a guest is sober enough to drive at the end of the night.

How Many Drinks Is Drinking Responsibly?

One drink per hour. This is the standard amount of alcohol that the liver can process and metabolize in an hour. Higher intakes can cause liver, heart, and stomach diseases, high blood pressure, and obesity—three drinks maximum per outing.

  1. All of them look good, but I’m thinking I’ll have wine and maybe some gin and tonic — sounds boring, but when I like something I usually stick with it

  2. Hi Brenda. I'm so sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. I hope and pray that 2018 is a healthier year for you. I got on here right now to let you know that I'm assembling the ingredients for one of the appetizers you posted a couple of days ago. It's the one with the snowman shaped out of three graduated-sized bowls, surrounded by celery, carrots, etc. I actually found a set of three cute white graduated bowls in original packaging at a thrift store! My ingredients won't be exactly the same — I'm substituting Swiss cheese cubes for the cauliflower, for instance — but I think people will get a kick out of it at my family's gathering this afternoon. So thanks for the recipe idea that doesn't require me to turn on an oven or get out a mixer! Hope you can rest this weekend.

  3. Brenda, I just read the other posts and I'm so sorry you are ill. Girl, enough is enough! Gotta get you well for the long haul, not just a few weeks. Take care and rest. I'll be thinking about you and sending healing vibes.

And, by the way, even when I didn't know you were sick I didn't consider your post inappropriate, lazy, or "filler." I just assumed you needed a little break which you quite deserve. Just sayin'.

  4. They all look so beautiful and yummy! When the family comes to my house for Christmas they will all bring their favorite drinks. How's that for being lazy? I was thinking today, though, that maybe for a future Christmas gathering I would serve punch like my mom used to make with some kind of juice–cranberry, I think–and ginger ale and vanilla ice cream stirred in. Can that be right? I'll have to ask my sister. I know it had something foamy in it but not positive it was ice cream.

Thanks for all the drink suggestions! I'll file them for future.

Merry, Merry! To you and the pupsters!

  5. Oh I am so sorry, I had no idea you are sick. You take it easy and rest. It's just that I miss your beautiful writing about your yard, your house, the pups and your grandchild.

    1. I hadn't mentioned it. No worries! Tomorrow morning I have a long blog post about what's been going on.

  6. I'm going to step out on a limb here and make some people angry. I love your blog and read it daily. I enjoy your daily goings on. I'm not a fan of 10 drinks for Christmas or 10 hostess gifts. I can get those things from Facebook. I want to read about you. You inspire me by your beautiful writing please don't spoil your blog with filler.

    1. I'm not angry. Some have liked them. I am sick. I have trigeminal neuralgia on the left side of my face and asthmatic bronchitis. So I'm not up to snuff right now.

  7. I’ll take one of each pretty please! Merry Christmas Brenda – I hope you and the punsters have a very peaceful day!

  8. Wow. They all look good! Merry Christmas, Brenda. Enjoy the holiday and my very best wishes to you for a wonderful 2018, my friend. xo Kim
