Cooking With Curls

This one would warm your tummy on a cold day. According to Lisa from Cooking With Curls, Guinness Beef Chili is rich with just the right amount of spice. It’s made with ground beef, stout beer, crushed tomatoes, garlic, onions, and two kinds of chili powder.

It is an excellent meal choice for St. Patrick’s Day or any other day!

Irish stew is made with lamb or mutton, while beef stew is made with beef.

Original Irish Soda Bread:

Original Irish Soda Bread would be a great addition to your table on St. Patrick’s Day. Kristie of Saving Dollars And Sense says it is easy to make and requires no yeast.

Sandy from Reluctant Entertainer said they bought all their ingredients for these sliders at Trader Joe’s, but you can shop anywhere.

She says the beauty of these cheesy sliders is that you can use either corned beef or pastrami, and cold corned beef sliders are the best!

  2. These all look delicious and festive! I enjoy baking Irish Soda Bread and scones. My mom was born in Northern Ireland. My grandfather was an ‘Orangeman’ therefore we wear orange to celebrate on St. Patty’s Day.

  3. Once again you have curated a nice selection of treats! The float and a cupcake sound good to me; I always have a sweet tooth. I love soda bread with some butter and strawberry jam too.
Hope you and the furbabies had a good weekend.

Those are all tasty-looking and fun ideas, Brenda. Since my birthday is on St. Patrick’s Day my mom always used to make Irish Stew and soda bread to celebrate. Then she would make a cake with green frosting! It’s been years since I’ve eaten those yummy foods for my birthday. Maybe I’ll at least make the soda bread this year and one of the other items shown above. They all look so good it’s hard to choose.

Thanks for posting these suggestions for a festive St. Patrick’s Day!

p.s. I’m not one bit Irish!

  5. These are all great and yummy recipes. I love the pot of gold dip and chips that is pretty cute. Have a good week.
