Amazon & Etsy Valentine’s Day Decor
Today I’m showing you the Amazon and Etsy Valentine’s Day decor I ordered. The two Etsy orders have not arrived yet.
I will be decorating with all these things as soon as I have them all.
Vintage Style Victorian Valentine’s Day Cards: (Amaz0n) – $11.98
This is a bulk gift box set of 10 beautiful assorted Valentine’s Day note cards & envelopes. Each card measures 4″ x 5 “.
I thought the price was decent and they’re very nice cards.
Madelaine Chocolate Company Chocolate Hearts (Amazon) – $21.35
I love chocolates and could name the big brands who make them. But I’d never heard of this one, Madelaine Chocolate Company.
I took a chance on it buying the chocolates based on the reviews and they are quite delicious!
I’d wanted them for Valentine’s Day decor, but of course I’ll eat them! Isn’t it nice when you can do both?
Floral Framed Canvas Wall Art (11×14 Amazon) – $12.97
This 11 x 14 inch painting from Amazon reminded me very much of Valentine’s Day. I’m usually not a big fan of pink. But say pink flowers and I’m in.
Pretty much say any flower and I’m in!
10 Rose Arrangement Silk Bouquet (Amazon) – $13.99
These red roses just got here but I haven’t had time to do anything with them yet. I debated on ordering red tulips or red roses.
I told myself that I could also use red tulips for springtime decorating.
But red roses won because I always think of roses when it comes to Valentine’s Day. They will look lovely in any setting, but I’ll probably put mine in one of my white pitchers.
Mango Wood Heart Shaped Decorative Bowl: (Amazon) – $11.89
This 10 x 10 inch wood heart is a great vessel for Valentine’s Day candy. Red heart candy, anyone?
Or maybe when my order of metal hearts gets here, I’ll scatter them in the wood heart.
To me hearts are a fun theme to decorate around and use year round.
Oh, how I miss my big yellow rose bush I had in the container at the other apartment! It did fine a couple of winters there, but then the cold finally got it.
I was heartbroken.
There’s a lot of shade in my current yard, but I’ll have to think about whether I could add roses somewhere. They’re velvety petals are so soft and lovely!
Etsy Shop Orders:
I like to support small businesses like Etsy shops. So if I’m not purchasing something from Amazon, I typically look to Etsy.
With Etsy, I feel like I’m going to the antique mall but seated in my easy chair. I’ve found lots of wonderful things at Etsy shops over the years.
Handmade Felt Heart Shaped Garland (Etsy) – $16.95
I almost bought this red heart garland last year, but didn’t and then regretted it. This year I saw it and snapped it up.
However, it hasn’t arrived yet with all the bad weather. I’ll show it to you when it gets here.
Lot Set of 25 Heart Shape .5 inch Rusty Vintage Metal (Etsy) – $7.99
These are the other hearts I was speaking of in terms of the wood heart dish. I love their patina.
I don’t quite know what you could do with them other than put them in a container for decor. If you can think of some other use for them, let me know.

There is a rose that will grow in the shade. It has a French sounding name, and one of the words starts with a.

Have you considered Knock-Out brand yellow roses? They might work in your garden, try planting one in the area that gets the most sunshine. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Personally, I don’t reserve eating chocolates to Valentine’s Day. I consider that a waste of 364 days and at 72, I’m not thinking about sacrificing any of those days for not doing (or eating) things I love.
How about the hearts in a little jar with a tealight? I like the idea of framing the card…could use a 2 sided frame and put back/front on each side.
You ordered some nice things! I really like the pink flowers canvas. Like you, I’m not a big fan of pink in decorating, but I do like pink flowers.
I unpacked my Valentine’s Day decor the other day and started looking through it, then for whatever reason, just wasn’t motivated to start decorating for that holiday yet. Perhaps this weekend.
Loved your post today! I really loved the red heart garland. Unfortunately, she is sold out. There are a few other sellers on Etsy with similar products though. I also really loved the wooden heart bowl. It’s beautiful! Your hearts would be pretty either on your mantle or laying in the wooden heart bowl. And of course, you have your red dishes too. Even your candy, if there’s any left, lol, would also be cute in the wooden heart bowl. You are going to be so festive for Valentine’s Day! ❤️
I’ve only allowed myself 2 pieces of the candy…
Everything is lovely, Brenda. I see the metal hearts tossed on top of your heart shaped bowl fillers. Or filling a small jar with red ribbon or string tied around the jar.
I love the cards and would enjoy putting one or two in a frame for everyday use.
Framing them. What a great idea!
Hi Brenda,
I love all the Valentine decor you chose. I was especially happy to see the chocolate hearts are American made. I may order some myself! Red is my favorite color too!
American made was the icing on the cake
Not a big Valentines fan, kind of a made up Hallmark holiday.
Always felt sorry for the husbands, boyfriends that feel obligated to go get gifts or get sent to the dog house.
I never expected Valentine’s Day gifts or flowers. I’d rather buy them myself.
