Welcome to The Love Of Home Files #19. Today, I have spring decorating with vintage elements, as well as container gardens and recipes.

This is where I scour the internet looking for interesting finds for you to check out, both seasonal and decorative. Farmhouse, vintage, or eclectic, I look for recipes you might want to try and new looks for your home.
We’re on the downhill slide to springtime, so everything from bunny rabbits to gardening is included.

Liz Marie consistently displays vintage finds in various ways. Two white rabbits sit on a cake stand, while vintage rolling pins are shown in a clear glass jar.

Lora Bloomquist created an adorable wall vignette featuring vintage galvanized chicken feeders attached to springs from a crib. She added moss and sheep to the feeders to bring a farmhouse vibe to her spring decor.
A Cheerful Springtime Bedroom:

Margy@theoldhouseonmain on Instagram decorated a bedroom with two twin iron beds and identical bedding. The look is fresh and springlike with both gingham and floral pillows, and the colors are gorgeous.

Jane@cottageonthetarn displays terracotta pots with moss and candles. She added vintage seed packets to enhance the authenticity of this old-fashioned look.
20 Best Vegetables For Containers:

Ananda at A Piece Of Rainbow gives her advice for the 20 best vegetables to plant in containers in your garden. She shares her best tips for growing tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, zucchini, cucumbers, and potatoes in pots.
How To Grow Cosmos In Containers:
Kelly at Gardener’s Path says that if you don’t have a meadow to seed, consider planting cosmos in containers. This flower will attract butterflies and bees to your garden.
Baked Tuscan Chicken Casserole:

Christina at Eatwell 101 gives her recipe for baked Tuscan chicken casserole. It has spinach, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, cream cheese, and Parmesan.
She says this casserole comes together very quickly. This recipe is keto-friendly, gluten-free, and low-carb.
Vanilla Chai Protein Shake:
Maria at Maria’s Munchies offers a vanilla chai protein shake recipe. Her vegan site offers many healthy recipes for a plant-based diet.
I enjoy smoothie recipes and have been having one for lunch almost every day lately. I like to add bananas, frozen cherries, dragon fruit, and chocolate protein powder to mine.
Dragon fruit is a tropical fruit that’s low in calories and high in fiber and antioxidants. Cherries are a good source of dietary fiber, along with the anti-inflammatory benefits of the powerful antioxidants cherries possess.
Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookies:
Sarah at Broma Bakery has a recipe for chocolate-chip banana bread cookies. Bananas give the cookies a moist texture. If you only have one banana, she says, why not put it in this chocolate chip cookie recipe that is sure to please?
I hope you enjoyed my choices this week in The Love Of Home Files #19.

You had me at banana bread chocolate chip cookies, lol!
I love the bedding (textures and colors) in the twin bed photo.
Cosmos are one of my favorite flowers!
That Tuscan Chicken recipe looks delicious. Will be trying it.
I like the idea of putting two different colors of Cosmos in a single pot. That would look very pretty in my flower bed, where I have Sunpatiens in shades of coral and red. (Have you ever tried planting Sunpatiens? They are an impatiens hybrid that can be planted in the sun or shade, so I am thinking they would work well for you with all the shade that you have. They are larger than the “old” impatiens variety and give such a burst of color on my north facing porch!) I also like the recipes for the smoothie and the cookies!
Oh my…the recipes look so yummy!!
The Tuscan chicken looks delicious! Might give it a try.
Thanks, Brenda! You work hard putting it all together in your posts
Hope things are going better for you this week.
I look forward to your Love of Home Files. Thought the rabbits on the cake stand and rolling pins in the jar were clever ideas. Also enjoyed the bed linens and pillows on the twin iron beds. So pretty.
Great collection! I’m inspired to plant a container of cosmos, so pretty and colorful. The Tuscan chicken might be my Easter dinner, it looks really good.
