  1. I do hope the plants are helping! Love the new look of the blog. And yes, Ivy seems to always find something to get into. I don’t know that I would have been able to function at 3:00 a.m. LOL. Love and hugs!

  2. I love your new header or banner, whatever you call the name and photos at the top of a blog. It’s a very comfy look! Thanks. When I think of airplane plants I think of my college dorm rooms. Everyone had an airplane plant, or spider plant as it might have been called, because we’d get starts from someone else’s plant. I wasn’t crazy about their appearance because they got huge pretty quickly. My favorite plant from college dorm days was the mother-in-law tongue plan or snake plant (sansevieria trifasciata). I have one now in my living room. I like how simple it is.

  3. You are a grate Mom to your fur baby’s , I know that I don’t retry know you but I think you’re Wonderland person . May God bless you always

  4. Thanks for the info about the Harlan Coben book on Netflix. He’s long been my favorite author!

  5. LOL! I had a couple of airplane plants that I thought were out of reach from the cat. Well, he ate both down to nubs and didn’t touch my other different plants. I never could figure out why. If it got him high and feeling good, then that explains everything!

  6. Boy that Ivy sure can get into things!! My Monkey started barking her head off at 4:30 this morning….not the kind of bark like there’s a bear outside, but more like Lily finished all the water and she wanted more….what a punk! If I give in to her once, she’ll think she can bark at any hour of the night and I’ll go running to see what she wants, so I stayed in my bed and waited for her to go back to sleep. She’s such a demanding little thing!

  7. I finished season 2 last night of Ozark. Going to watch 1 again. Boy that got crazy. Might have to watch the one you are watching now.

Isn’t it crazy what the cats can find to do. Our little one Norah goes on a tirade at night and jumps in the bed and swats dogs in the face while they are sleeping. Poor guys.

I have lots of spider plants outside and hadn’t thought of putting one in the house. I especially like the dark green ones. Hope Charlie is feeling better.

  8. Sounds as if you need to keep Ivy Lou awake during the day time hours so she sleeps at night. That would mean entertains her all day long. ?

  9. Just read in our AZ Republic newspaper this morning about how Air Plane plants are soo good to cleanse the air (per astronauts, NASA, etc) and how cats are attracted to them. Cats eat them to get high and feel better. Apparently, per this article, eating the plants does NOT hurt or injure the cats. These are also called Spider plants and send off long shoots. If you were to get one, you’d really have to think about Ivy being more attracted to it than your current plants. These plants send off many wonderful long shoots and are easily repotted!

    1. I almost got one yesterday. Maybe I’ll get one at some point for the kitchen shelves, where she does not go.

      1. Brenda, don’t buy the airplane plants! I have so many! Please call or email and I will be happy to bring you a few!
