  1. Wow Brenda, I got a lot of different websites to browse! I’ve been so busy today that I’m just getting a chance to see your post. So many great sites to look at! Thanks! I better hurry up and hit send or it will disappear like it did yesterday and it was a longer comment.
    Have a great weekend too!

  2. Thanks, Brenda – love all these interesting links! The food ones especially, although the Target one has such lovely things – the artificial Queen Anne’s Lace is so pretty! And the cosy throws!
The one on overwintering herbs really interested me – not sure I agree with overwintering Rosemary in Zone 6 which is my zone. I bring mine in and keep it in a cooler spot with good light. Hope it makes it through another winter this year! I started it as three cuttings from one of those clamshell packages of herbs and it is such a thrill to see it as a lovely plant on the balcony – I live in a condo. Smells so good!
Thanks for all your research – much appreciated.
I hope that you and your Ivy have a happy week-end!

  3. So much incredible information today, Brenda. Thank you! I’ve been wanting to make the Jennifer Anniston salad but I’m not a fan of chick peas. While reading the article I found some ideas for substitutions. Pasta salads at least twice a week that oh so yummy and refreshing.
    Have a fabulous Saturday!

  4. I found some good recipes to try like pumpkin muffins so thanks for the links. Homemade food is the best.
You have a good weekend too !!!

  5. Just checked out Targets fall decor, I absolutely love the wood and metal console table. It would take about 2 to 3 hours to cross the border from Canada into Buffalo to get to a Target store. We used to do this run often but now I am feeling lazy so I will have to pass. I just thought a bit of black would look great in my living room. Never mind I will look to see if I can find something similar here.
Hope you are having a good weekend Brenda along with your beautiful Ivy.

  6. I love me a beautiful and cozy throw from this time of year through early spring. I have lots of different ones that I switch out over the seasons. I keep a throw in the living room even in the summer for cool evenings – I have two that I switch out for summer: a light cream, light weight fuzzy synthetic blend and my always out there black faux mink that is the softest throw I’ve ever felt. I checked out the Hearth and Hand fall collection at Target (your link) and saw a couple of throws that I liked a lot, especially the neutral colored wide stripe, it would go so well with other colors I use in the room this time of year. I’m hoping for a sale soon because I always like to get something at a discounted price 🙂
